known as Sam Walton was born on 29 March in 1918
,Kingfisher, Oklahoma .
He is was the first son of a banker Thomas Walton
and Nancy Lee.
Became Graduated from the University of Missouri in
Columbia with a degree in Economics in 1940.
Walton got his first real taste of the retail world
in Des Moines with the J.C. Penney Company.
5. In 1945 Sam Walton opened the first Ben Franklin franchise in Newport Arkansas
and operated with his wife Helen and brother Bud.
These was small but every successful. So in 2nd July of 1962 was
opened the first Walmart Discount City store at 719 W. Walnut Street in Roger,
Arkansas .
Walt-Mart began 1st IPO in 1970.
