Victoria’s Secret is known as the No.1 retailer of lingerie in the United States.
Founded in 1977 by Roy Raymond, Victoria’s Secret has become a multi million-dollar
brand, expanding their brand to more than just lingerie.
Victoria’s Secret also sells beauty products and the illustrious known clothing line PINK.
Victoria’s Secret sales associates are one of the main people behind the success of the
Limited Brand Company. Many look at the job as just an average retail job, however
according to Victoria’s Secret associates it’s so much more than that.
The successful retail brand is not limited to only lingerie. Victoria’s Secret also sells beauty
products, exercise gear, and the popular Pink clothing line.
A typical shift for Victoria’s Secret associates entails many tasks such as, cashing out
customers and making sure the panty bar is neat and organized. However, the overall goal
is to make sure every woman who enters their store gets the proper assistance needed to
ensure that they leave feeling comfortable and confident within themselves.
The variety of bras Victoria’s Secret has is why Victoria’s Secret is the No. 1 place to buy
bras. It gives customers a variety of choices from full coverage to demi push-ups. Victoria’s
Secret associates make it a priority to educate customers on products to make sure the
customers pick out the best option for them.
Sales associate Courtney Henderson said that growing up she use to have self esteem
issues. Helping women feel comfortable and confident with their body is the most
rewarding part of her job.
Cash wrap Samantha Chindavah stated that working at Victoria’s Secret is no walk in the
park but it’s the most rewarding experience seeing women leaving the store satisfied.
Victoria’s Secret continues to grow and thrive each and everyday in new ways.

CNN reported on Thursday, September 4, 2014 well known comedian, TV personality Joan
Rivers passed away at the age of 81.
Yorkville Endoscopy, the clinic where Rivers suffered cardiac arrest is currently being
investigated. The New York medical examiner’s office is also being investigated.
Rivers was undergoing a minor surgery when she suffered from cardiac arrest.
Many individuals had a voice in the story. James O’Hara, spokesman for The New York
Department of Health, was interviewed. CNN used statements from Rivers’ daughter
Melissa Rivers.
CNN tried contacting Yorkville Endoscopy clinic, however, they have yet to respond to CNN
calls.
A CNN video was accompanied with this news story. In this video CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer
and CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta were discussing Rivers’ throat
surgery and possible reasons on how her surgery went wrong.

Lost Of America’s Country Icon
The late Dolly Parton, 68, died of a sudden heart attack on Oct. 18, 2014.
Parton had a heart attack at Dollywood, Parton’s theme park located in Knoxville, Tenn.
Parton was participating in a breast cancer walk.
Parton was a country music icon and a well-known actress. She has won number of
Country Music and Grammy awards for songs such as, Here You Come Again, I Will Always
Love You, and many other hits. She also starred in many hit movie films, such as, Steel
Magnolias and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
Parton was born January 19, 1946 in Locust Ridge, Tenn., to Robert Lee and Avie Lee
Parton. She grew up in a poor area in Appalachia, Tenn. Starting at the age of 10 Parton
started appearing on Knoxville’s local television and radio stations and started officially
recording in 1967. After graduating from high school in Sevier County, Tennessee, in 1964,
she moved to Nashville to launch her career as a country singer. She married Carl Dean
May 30, 1966.
The following year (1967), Parton got into contact with Porter Wagoner’s attention. He
hired Dolly to appear on his program, The Porter Wagoner Show. She stayed with the show
for seven years. Parton and Wagoner had 14 Top Ten hits together and she began
collaborating with his group at the Grand Ole Opry; she also toured and sold multiple
records.
Parton opened her own theme park, Dollywood in 1986.
Parton started the Dollywood Foundation in 1988 “to inspire children in her home
community to dream more, learn more, do more and care more.”
In 2001, she built Dollywood’s Splash Country, which is Tennessee’s largest water park.
Dolly Parton’s entertainment businesses attract 4.5 million visitors annually.
Dolly Parton is one of the most honored country music performers in the history of country
music. Achieving 25 RIAA certified gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards, she has had
25 songs reach number 1 on the Billboard Country charts. She has 41 careers top 10
country albums, a record for any artist, and she has 110 career charted singles over the
past 40 years. Also, Parton was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000.

Destination Wedding
For the couples who are tired of what is considered a traditional wedding a destination
wedding might be right the decision to make your special day a day to remember.
As we transition into the colder months of the year some couples consider having their
special day somewhere warmer and more exotic.
Some couples choose to have their wedding in the country where they fell in love.
Whatever the reason is a destination wedding is one way to have a unique and romantic
wedding experience.
Destination weddings are usually more small and intimate than a typical wedding, which is
one great benefit.
Since destination weddings are more intimate the cost of a wedding also tend to be less in
cost, which is an unexpected benefit. For instance, a couple can book a flight to an exclusive
resort, get married, and have at least a weeklong honeymoon.
Most of all destination weddings tend to be less stressful on the bride and groom compared
to a traditional wedding.
So for all couples looking for a beautiful wedding experience a destination wedding might
be the right choice for you.
