2. Product Information
1. Currently in our recurring suite emandate can be successfully registered on a bank
account by authenticating a mandate via netbanking credentials or debit card
authentication. There is a third mode which is Aadhaar based eMandates.
2. In Aadhaar based eMandates, while the registration confirmation is not in real-time, it is
significantly faster than physical mandates. Furthermore, with the penetration of
Aadhaar, the segment of customers who can set up mandates via e-sign, is significantly
higher than is the case with either net-banking or debit card authentication.
3. User Journey
The registration can take up to T+2 days or more. Post mandate confirmation, the merchant can proceed with
the debits which follow a T+0, same-day settlement TAT. The debit process remains the same as that for
eMandate and NACH.
