Assembled, facilitated and guided the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)/Counter Improvised
Explosive Device (C-IED) program to female Afghan police officers in order to enhance and
maximize potential duties and responsibilities.
Coordinated and provided classroom instruction utilizing Afghan national interpreters,
establishing strong working relationships with local nationals and helped restore and build
confidence between US War Fighter Training Alliance (WTA) employees, the Afghan National
Police (ANP) and the Afghan National Defense Security Force (ANSF).
Provided all ANDSF/CIED/EOD/IEDD/SSE course instruction as directed in the role of
instructor, mentor and evaluator
Aided the ANDSF in working with supported units and subcontractors to identify, design, and
manage the ANDSF training requirements.
Performed and aided with demolition instructions and practical exercises,while participating in
the continual improvement process.
Organized and presented feedback during After Action Review (AAR) at the conclusion of
training events.
Utilized Train-the-Trainer (T3) Techniques, acting as liaison between ANDSF Instructor cadre.
Ensured training objectives are safely and successfully completed on time and following
established training curriculum and schedules, conducting administrative functions, scheduling
and quality assurance and control.
MILITARYEXPERIENCE
Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Member
Ft. Campbell, KY and Afghanistan
(August 2011 – July 2015)
Supported 97 EOD missions, cleared 34 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), 12 weapons
caches,17 pieces of unexploded ordnance (UXO),and 20 route clearance patrol missions,
including 930 miles of main supply routes.
Processed,handled, and shipped over 100 pieces of evidence recovered during EOD operations
that resulted in 12 biometric matches. Matches were later used to arrest 92 enemy personnel.
2. Completed training in Weapons Technical Intelligence Analysis, Global Anti-terrorism and
Operational Readiness, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense Course.
Partnered with civilian contractors to locate and eliminate unexploded ordnance threat on Bagram
Airfield.
Prepared various reports utilizing CIDNE reporting system to track enemy tactics, techniques,
and procedures, aiding in maintaining informed EOD teams throughout the East Afghanistan area
of operation.
Assisted in retrograde operations on Forward Operating Base Salerno which included disposal of
more than 200,000 rounds of small arms ammunition and over 10,000 pounds of unserviceable
ordnance.
Maintained, managed and ensured proper storage of over $800,000 worth of Chemical and
Radiological equipment.
Held Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance,currently hold Secret Clearance
GEOSPATIAL ANALYSIS EXPERIENCE
Improved entire point and line data for Springettsbury Pennsylvania Department of Public Works,
including 350 manhole covers and sewer system using Trimble Pro products, accurately mapping
within a one meter tolerance, significantly improving daily operations for DPW employees.
Maintained and updated operational maps for emergency responders including point, line, and
polygon data as well as address geodatabases. Updates allowed personnel responding to incidents
to plan the best route and have the most up-to-date information regarding locations of residential
and commercial dwellings.
Created presentations for multiple municipal authorities regarding needed funds to continue
adding information and data to existing GIS systems, resulting in accumulation of additional
funding, and provided reduced cost GIS/GPS work for local government.
