What is MTD for VAT all about?
Accounting and VAT records will need to be kept on HMRC approved
software.
This will need to be API enabled so that the trader can communicate
digitally with HMRC and they will be able to communicate digitally
with the trader.

Will it apply to me?
Only if you’re VAT registered and have a turnover of £85k or more.
Traders with voluntary registration for VAT with a turnover of less
than £85k will not be mandated.
