2. How will I make it?
• With my magazine I shall make it using Adobe Photoshop.
• With my magazine I will need to use images. For example if I took a
photo of a friend to use I would need their permission to use it (in
this case I shall write up a draft contract and have them sign it, just so
there’s no trouble later on). Whereas if I got photos from the internet
I would need to make sure I put the link to where I got the image
from.

3. Content overview
• Mafia Month – which is a segment where I focus on a certain mobster
whether it be from the American or Russian mafia
• Crime explained – which is a segment where I explain what a certain
crime is and famous cases of it.
• Who dunnit? – a segment where I tell a story about a crime that has
occurred, give clues and you the audience have to figure out who
done the crime based on the clues that I have provided

4. Technical considerations
• First things first I would need Adobe Photoshop, which costs £16 per
month.
• I would need a laptop/computer to do said work on (which I already
have)
• I would need an SD card so I can save my progress (already have)

5. Contributors
• Me (James Golightly) would be the ‘main’ contributor as I’d be making
the whole thing
• However a lot of different websites/people would be contributors too
as I may be using their photos and would require to give them credit.
• Locations: I wouldn’t require to ask for the location permission but I
would need other people’s permission just in case they have doubts
later on.

6. Schedule
• I haven’t got a set schedule but I would focus on gaining all the
photos first (whether it be primary or secondary), write the articles
and then physically make it.

7. Legal considerations
• Like referenced earlier I would require permission if I took someone’s
photo
• I would get this permission by drafting up a contract and gaining their
signature
• However if I got a photo from the internet I would instead just
provide credit instead of asking for permission, as if I provide credit
the owners of the image can’t say I am claiming it as my own.
