Replatforming, a multibillion-dollar company, is as challenging as painting a 747 while it’s in flight. Success means using the right tools for the job, working at agile speed and tapping into hundreds of man-years of best practices from experts around the world. In this session, presented at LocWorld33, I shared a candid view of the trials and triumphs on going global, platform retooling at internet scale and some personal insights on every aspect of localization from creative assets to translation services.
