1. To whom it may concern:
My name is Charles S. McIntyre and I shall be assuming a position as an inspector
with Enbridge.
Having worked in the construction field for the past 30 years I am thoroughly familiar
with the hire-in processes of most large employers, and find the Enbridge hiring
method to be one of the best that I have encountered. The required testing on
specifications by all applicants was not only challenging, but the only method to
determine a high level of competence and knowledge of all personnel.
I was especially impressed with the orientation and mentoring provided by Jamie
Christianson. He personally escorted me to several sites and explained how they were
set up and the manner they were to be maintained. There was nothing left to question
after his thorough but concise briefings. I can see why he was chosen for this task due
to his exceptional knowledge, professionalism and candor. He is a credit to the
Enbridge staff and a great ambassador for the company.
In conclusion, let me say that I have discovered throughout my career that the most
valuable assets that one can bring to his employer is a high level of
loyalty, competence, impeccable ethics, and total dedication to safety. In my short
time here I am convinced that those are also the values, not only espoused, but
demanded by Enbridge. I am anxious to begin my project and to establish and
maintain the criterion established by Mr. Christianson.
Sincerely
Charles S. McIntyre.
