Two additions to the Refining & Oils team at London-based Gemcorp
Commodities Trading are Josh Ward and Jorden van Foreest. Josh
enters as Trader in refined products and crude oil after stints in both BP
and Blue Oil Energy. Jorden worked in the Royal Netherlands and U.S.
navies before heading to Glencore at the start of a series of
appointments in LNG and oil for the group in London and West Africa.
His most recent role was with VTTI in Rotterdam as a commercial
manager responsible for their Euro Tank storage. At Gemcorp he is BD
Manager-Africa.

among others, when its oil trading and storage business
was sold to CCI. Subsequently David served as
Castleton’s head of IT development for global oil.
News from Houston that energy intelligence
provider Vortexa welcomes Peter Van Roten as
Sales Director. Over the past eight years Peter
has been a broker with Classic Energy and
Axiom Derivatives, an account manager with IVG
Energy and sales director in North American oil
and natural gas with Genscape.
Jamie Nutt is Vattenfall’s newest Cross-
Commodity Trader, hired from being an adviser
on hedging and trading for ENOC in Dubai.
Jamie’s traded oil derivatives for ICBC Standard
Bank, was a VP in oil trading for Mitsui Bussan
Commodities and served as a trader at Glencore,
E.ON, Klesch and Centrica Energy.
At refined oil products specialist Novum Energy Trading
in Houston, Carlos Moreno arrives as Distillate Trader
from a brokerage role with BAT Commodities. His former
spells in trading distillates came at Cargill and Macquarie
Commodities Trading US.

based when with Statoil, employed in oil blending and
scheduling.
Kevin McGovern enters the Houston
office of Eni T&S to be Trading
Manager for crude and products. His
resumé shows Kevin has formerly
traded crude for Chevron, Arcadia
and Kempstar.
Head of Crude Trading at Mandara
Energy is Yohan Kakon’s new slot. It
follows crude-oil trader positions for
Yohan with both Cargill and
Macquarie.
Promotion at Trafigura to report for Rhys Gatefield. From trading North Sea crude, he’s made Global Fuel Spec
Trader. Although Rhys was a Lukoil/Litasco trader between 2016-2018, he’d been at Trafigura in trading
capacities for seven years previously.
