3. My choice
For my music magazine, I would choose a
larger conglomerate to publish my magazine.
This is because my genre is an emerging to
become part of the mainstream in popular
culture. Especially in England. Also, the
specialist personnel they have on board will
ensure my magazine has a glossy finish and
well sell as many copies as possible. A
company that fits into my strategy would be
Q magazine. Owned by the Bauer Media
Group. They are the biggest magazine in
England and have a wide variety of content
concerning popular music.
4. Multi Platform
• A multi platform strategy would fit in with my
target audience as the younger generation are
typically and perhaps stereotypically more
computer literate. The brand identity will also
be retained due to the ‘new’ folk themes I
have hopefully connoted and denoted in my
work. Because of the mass marketing and
distribution, coupled with changes in popular
music. My magazine would be successful and
sell, due to the niche in the market.
