Joint Personnel Recovery Plans and Operations

Course Objective: To prepare students for PR planning and operations duties at the Combatant
Command, Service/Component, JTF, and MAJCOM/MACOM levels of responsibility.
Target Audience: This course is designed for Combatant Command, JTF, Component, Service,
and MAJCOM/JACOM PR Offices of Primary Responsibility (OPRs) and Directors of Joint
Personnel Recovery Centers.
Description: This course provides training for Department of Defense (DoD) and other
government agency personnel performing PR preparation, planning, executionnnn, and
adaptation duties. The course content includes: PR Fundamentals, Adaptation Exercise,
Recovery Force Capabilities, NAR, Reintegration Planning, survival, evasion, resistance, and
escape (SERE) Planning, Intelligence Support to PR, PR Planning, Planning Exercise, Mission
Execution, and a JPRC/PRCC CPX. The scope of training includes practical evaluations requiring
students to write PR planning documents at the strategic level and to set up and operate a
JPRC/PRCC during a CPX.
Security Requirements: This course requires a secret security clearance.
Prerequisites: Completion of any of the following courses: PR 101, PR 102, PR 103, PR 110,
PR 120, PR 202, PR 210 or PR 303. Also, students accepted to the course will receive pre-
course readings and assignments with the course reporting instructions.
