Is KNX good for the job ?

A big driver of automation apart from prestige, comfort and ergonomics is energy efficiency
When it comes lighting control, saving here are great, but…..
• Never was the biggest consumer, now with LED and conventional sensor and timers
we have reached its peak in terms of savings
• The real loads are with heating and cooling control and the effects of external
influences
• Balancing the renewable energy, and the ever-growing cost of utilities
Now days more than ever, automation find itself in the centre of thing in commercial buildings
and the home.
KNX has the ability, to not only monitor and report, but to actively control - load sheading,
peak demand, tariffs, monitoring and report.
Culminating with KNX products that integrate from all part of the building ,seamlessly come
together to address the issue.

• Can monitor for loads for change from as low as 10 – 50mA, and trigger and event such as a scene
• Had threshold switching abilities
