2. International Nature and
Environment Festival
Dates : 16-17 September, 2022
Participant Countries: Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Italy,
Turkiye
Profile of Participants : 3 students aged 14 -17, a project
coordinator, a coach, a total of 5 people. There is no age
limit for the coach and the project coordinator.
Location : Malatya, Turkiye
4. IMPORTANT DATES:
15th September, Thursday – Arrival
16th September, Friday – Official meeting
17th September, Saturday – Festival
18th September, Sunday – Departure

5. Meeting day 1
■ On the first day, the final meeting will be held with the project coordinators.
Final reports, evaluation, dissemination and sustainability issues will be
discussed.
■ The participating young people will be shown the historical and cultural
places of Malatya by their host families.
6. Second day; the festival
Seminar : For the sustainability of life in a livable, healthy and natural
environment, the protection and continuity of the factors that make up
the environment and the natural life cycle are essential. A 1-hour
training seminar will be given by the TEMA (Turkish Foundation for
Combating Erosion, Afforestation and Conservation of Natural Assets)
to the participating youth about protecting nature and the environment.
7. Second day; the festival
Orienteering
* route, wayfinding, discovery learning activities.
* Young people will be given basic orienteering trainings together with the
Turkish Orienteering Provincial Representative Office. A mini tournament
will be held at the end of the training.
8. Second day; the festival
* Plogging: The participating young people will both walk and collect the waste
materials they encounter.
* Concert: A concert event will be held by local artists for the participating youth.
* Cultural nights. All participating countries will organize activities to promote their
countries' food, music and dances, and mini-stands will be opened.
9. Duties of the participating countries
■ Coming to Turkey with 3 students aged 14-17.
■ Informing the participating young people to come with sports clothes.
■ Health reports showing that young people do not have a condition that prevents
them from doing sports.
■ Parent permission documents
■ SPELL is responsible for the safety, health and organization of the festival area.
■ Young people will stay with families by Gender.
10. NOTES:
- Young people will stay with their families according to the Gender criteria.
- If you want your young people to stay at a hotel, please tell us ASAP.
- We need a list of participants, especially the profiles of the students.
