formerly a part of
Faculty of Pedagogy,
of Universitas
Gadjah Mada, which
was established in
September 19th,
1955.
Faculty of Pedagogy
of Universitas Gadjah
Mada and the
Institute of Teacher
Education was
merged into IKIP
Yogyakarta in 1963.
IKIP Yogyakarta
was officially
opened on May
21st, 1964.
