CODES AND CONVENTIONS OF
      PRINT ADVERTS
LOGO


   The channels logo in which the Documentary will be played on will be
somewhere on the Print advert, for channel 4 print adverts they do not have a
                               specific place.
         The logo is usually indented onto the background image.
IMAGE


The image shall fill the entire background.
It also must be related to the documentary.
    And usually only one image is used.
TEXT


At the most there are 3 lines of text on the print advert, including a slogan
                   (optional) the title, and when it starts.
         It must include vital information to draw the audience in.
The wording must read from the left side of the print advert to the right.
 The lettering must have a block colour so there are no distractions when
                                   reading.
As I am doing my documentary for Channel 4, the print advert I create will
be landscape to stick to the certain codes and conventions used for Channel 4.
