TROUBLESHOOTING AND
TECHNICAL
COMMON PROBLEMS
ENCOUNTERED
IN CLASS AND HOW TO SOLVE THEM
1. THE TEACHER OR STUDENT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED :
- Refreshing the solution, Changing the browser will fix the
problem.
- Check Speedtest @kdataserver/Seoul server
2. THE STUDENTS CAN’T SEE THE BOOK :
- Refreshing the solution, Changing the browser will fix the
problem.
If not check your Internet Speed or Restart your Router. If the said
possible solution won’t work, ask for help from IT.
- Use Screen share.
3. THE STUDENT’S CAMERA KEEPS LOADING :
- Refreshing the solution multiple times, Changing the
browser might fix the problem. If not ask for help from IT. IT will
report the said problem to the Korean Managers or the Teacher
4. THE STUDENT HAD A HARD TIME ENTERING :
- Refreshing the solution multiple times, Changing the
browser might fix the problem. If not ask for help from IT. IT will
report the said problem to the Korean Managers or the Teacher
will report the problem to one of the KM by following the
instructions of the IT.
5. BOTH SOLUTIONS CRASHED:
- Refreshing the solution, Changing the browser will fix the
problem.
If not , ask help from IT.
6. THE STUDENTS CAN’T HEAR THE TEACHER:
- Check your audio device : Look for the speaker icon on the
right bottom > right-click, choose sound > choose recording tab
> Check the default audio device, the default audio device is the
one with a check icon on it > right click choose properties >
choose listen tab > put a check on the box by clicking on it >
click apply > as you speak you should hear your voice while
speaking, if not the microphone might be the problem, Plugging
out and plugging in might fix the problem. Disabling the other
microphone device such as a camera microphone will also fix the
problem. Check also the setting in the solution and configure the
right settings. If all the said solutions didn’t work, ask help from
IT.
7. THE TEACHERS CAN’T HEAR THE STUDENT:
- Check your audio device : Look for the speaker icon on the
right bottom > right-click, choose sound > choose the playback
tab > Check the default audio device, the default audio device is
the one with a check icon on it > right click choose test , you will
hear a test sound if not, the headset might be the problem.
Plugging out and plugging in might fix the problem. Disabling
the other speaker device will also fix the problem. Check also the
setting in the solution and configure the right settings. If all the
said solutions didn’t work, ask help from IT.
8. THE STUDENTS CAN’T SEE THE TEACHER:
- Refreshing the solution, Changing the browser will fix the
problem. If not, reset permission use of the camera in the
browser. If the said solution didn’t work, ask for help from the IT.

9. THE TEACHERS CAN’T SEE THE STUDENT:
- Refreshing the solution, Changing the browser will fix the
problem. If the student can be instructed, instruct on how to
unplug and re-plug the camera. If the problem persists, report it
to IT or report it to one of the KM by following the IT instructions.
DIFFERENT WAYS TO TROUBLESHOOT CLASS
PROBLEMS :
1. CAMERA :
- Sometimes you will encounter an error as you enter the class
which makes the solution refresh multiple times. The problem
might be the camera. You can go to windows > search for camera
privacy settings > Turn off and on the access to your camera. In
the solution check the settings choose the camera that you will
use. Plugging in and out the camera might fix the problem.
- Re-plug camera > refresh the solution/webpage
2. AUDIO :
- Check your audio device : Look for the speaker icon on the
right bottom > right-click, choose sound > choose recording tab
> check the default audio device, the default audio device is the
one with a check icon on it > right click choose properties >

WHEN AND WHAT TO REPORT TO IT:
- If the teacher encounters a problem that She/He didn’t know
how to fix.
- if the possible solutions is already done by the teacher.
- The urgent problem that needed to be fixed.
- Device checking
- Changing device, peripherals, and ISPs.
SPEEDTEST, GOOGLE DRIVE/STORJ, FREE VIDEO COMPRESSOR :
1.SENDING SPEED TEST WILL BE EVERY HOUR
- Speedtest.net > change the server to Seoul > run the speed
test > take a screenshot and send it to Speed test monitoring.
2. GOOGLE DRIVE/STORJ
- Teachers will be given a shared account to upload their class
videos.
- If the storage is full, teachers should ask IT to back up their
videos.
3. FREE VIDEO COMPRESSOR :
- If the class videos exceed 100MB of file size, the class video
must be compressed to less than 100MB.
- Open file video compressor > click open > choose the file
that’s needed to be compressed > make the desired video size
less than 100MB > click compress > save to a folder > click yes.
TROUBLESHOOTING SOLUTION AND BOOK PROBLEM :
1.CHROME SOLUTION :
- As you enter the solution, there will be a pop up message
asking for camera and audio permission, just allow the camera
and audio permission.
2. ESPOT SOLUTION:
- Make sure you installed the solution on your computer.
- As you open the solution there will be a pop up message >
click open > another pop up message will open > click YES.
- The solution will ask you about the camera and audio device
that you will be using, choose the camera and device that you’ll
be using.
- When uploading books make sure not to upload the PDF type
of books. You can only upload JPEG and PNG format in the Espot
solution.
PROPER RECORDING AND UPLOADING OF CLASSES :
 - For proper recording, if you're using Bandicam as the recording
app, you need to configure the settings first. For video settings > open
the Bandicam > click video on the side panel > select setting at the
bottom near Presets > Set the size into half size, FPS to 25, Quality to
50. For Audio > Click the microphone icon at the middle of the
speaker icon and mouse icon. Set the speakers to the headset that
you use same with the microphone > Click OK. For Recording click
the recording mode > Select rectangle on the screen > Select
recording area > Just click once to the area that you want to record.
 For the iTop recorder, configure the settings first. Click on the options
near the key logo > click settings > click format > Make the size
720x480 (SD) > Frame rate at 24 > while the quality is at standard.
Before you start recording make sure the 3 icons are on, Speaker,
Mic, and mouse. For recording,> Click record video > Select Region >
then click and drag to the area that you want to record.
UPLOADING OF CLASS VIDEOS TO THE SOLUTION :
- Finish first the daily evaluation and teachers comment after
that Click choose file > Select the class videos that you want to
upload > click open > click the blue-button below the file (New
Video File Upload) > wait until it fully uploads the video > then
click save.
UPLOADING CLASS VIDEOS IN GOOGLE DRIVE/STORJ :
-log in to https://ap1.storj.io/login > go to Buckets > select
Capiz bucket password is “1111” > Select your folder > click
upload > select upload folder > choose folder to be uploaded >
click upload.
