Chile has become a leader in Latin America and the Caribbean in measures of innovation, entrepreneurship, investment, and competitiveness. However, Chile missed out on the industrial revolution and does not want to miss out on the digital revolution. Chile is implementing a public-private agreement and commitment process to continuously remove impediments to industry growth by focusing on digital infrastructure, human talent, and interoperability/standards as enabling layers across key industries like mining, agriculture, cities, and health. Foreign companies are invited to be part of Chile's strategy to become a hub for technology development in Latin America.
