We are all getting older - hands up if...
A fall can lead to many different outcomes. In the most extreme cases it can lead to death, however thankfully this is only a relatively small %. The majority of falls may appear relatively minor or non serious, however the cumulative impact can not be underestimated
Loneliness, lack of confidence, fear, isolation, mental health issues, loss of independance, gradual decline…...all made more likely by the fact that once you suffer that first fall then you are at a much higher risk of falling again...
So is falling just an inevitable consequence of getting older?
