(CTP)
• CTP is the MOD’s contracted recruitment consultant and
employment agency for all Service Leavers, it offers:
– A ‘no cost’ recruitment service for employers
– Accessible, free of charge, on-line system of advertising job
vacancies to suitable candidates
– An on-line job matching service – ‘Rightjob’
– Employment fairs, industry awareness days and company
presentations
– Trial attachments
– Central employment team
• 92% of Service Leavers are in employment within 6 months release,
and 97% within 12 months

Some of the detachments are in TA centres, some in stand-alone accommodation, others in Joint (bi or even tri service) - brand new centre in Devizes (opened by CDS last year) shared with Air Training Corps. In Crediton in Devon, new Cadet facility being built as part of the development of the town’s Fire Station. Way ahead, perhaps. As the Bde Comd, I try and inspect one detachment, personally, in each County, every year. And I usually manage to visit 5 out of 7 annual Camps - my Deputy does the others,
