3. Steps to follow:
1. Wash the dried lentils and let them soak for 12 hours. If you
leave them more time, lentils will be bigger. No problem.
4. 2. After that time, remove the water, wash the seeds again with filtered water and
put them in a fine strainer on a plate. Cover them with a cotton cloth or towel.
Leave them at room temperature.
5. 3. After 4 hours soak the lentils in the strainer, let them drain and put them back
on the plate, covered with the cotton cloth.
6. 4. You must repeat this operation for at least 3 days. Wetting the lentils every 4
hours during the day and just before going to sleep, soak them again and remain
the same.
7. 5. After 2 nights and 3 days, you will see the sprouts or buds quite grown. Then,
you are able to consume them but the ideal is to continue a couple more days.
8. 6. After 10 -12 days, you will see the sprouts or buds quite grown and you can
see many parts of a plant. One of them is the stem. How long is it? Can you
mesure it? Can you name more parts?
9. YOUR TASK CONSIST OF TAKING photos along the process and choose four
of them. Then, you will write four sentences, one for each selected photo,
describing it.
