He is an influential figure in popular music and culture and has been for more than six

His music also had a huge influence on the establishment of many other popular musical
genres, such as ‘Soul’ and ‘Funk’, and his character has influenced artists ranging from
‘Rock’ to ‘Hip-Hop’, his vast talent at music helped shape ‘Rhythm and Blues’ for years to
come

became a part of popular American music

3. SCREENSHOTS
For this music video, a couple of things that stood out to me was the positioning of Little Richard,
the way they always kept him towards the left side of the screen,
this allowed us to see what was around him,
a stage with a band playing instruments,
and a crowd watching his performance
For most of the video it is in the same pattern,
a shot of Little Richard, with the band,
then one of the audience,
then a close up of Little Richard,
then back to him with the band
Then in this scene they mix it all up in one
frame, a shot of a band player on the right with
Little Richard in the middle with the audience in
the background
4. Gonna tell Aunt Mary 'bout Uncle John,
He claim he has the misery but he's havin' a lot of fun,
Oh baby, yeah baby, woo, baby
Havin' me some fun tonight yeah
Well long, tall Sally
She's built for speed, she got
Everything that Uncle John need, oh baby,
Yeah baby, woo baby,
Havin' me some fun tonight yeah
Well, I saw Uncle John with long tall Sally
He saw Aunt Mary comin' and he ducked back in the alley oh baby,
Yeah baby, woo baby,
Havin' me some fun tonight, yeah ow
Well, long, tall Sally
She's built for speed, she got
Everything that Uncle John need oh baby,
Yeah baby, woo baby,
Havin' me some fun tonight yeah
Well, I saw Uncle John with bald head Sally
He saw Aunt Mary comin' and he ducked back in the alley oh baby,
Yeah baby, woo baby,
Havin' me some fun tonight, yeah
We gonna have some fun tonight,
We gonna have some fun tonight, woo
Have some fun tonight, everything's all right,
Have some fun, have me some fun tonight
LYRICS
repeated
An uncle, who lies about being
miserable to his wife
The uncle meets someone who has
everything he wants in a woman
The uncle is cheating on his wife
with this new woman and hides it
This woman has everything that the
uncle needs
This new woman that the uncle is
secretly having an affair with is bald,
he is still hiding this from his wife
The song goes on to say that
everyone is having fun and
everything is all right
5. DON'T KNOCK THE ROCK
Don't Knock the Rock is a 1956 American musical film
Starring Alan Dale,
Directed by Fred F. Sears,
the film also features performances by
Bill Haley & His Comets, Little Richard, The Treniers, and Dave Appell and the Applejacks
The title of the film comes from one of Bill Haley's hit singles of 1956
The Bill Haley recording is played over the opening credits
PLOT
The plot is about how a rock and roll star returns home to find out that his art form has been banned by the town’s adults, and
amongst those is a journalist who has a daughter which the main character falls in love with
The daughter then persuades the main character to put on a show to rebel against the adults and show them that it is unjustified for
Rock and Roll to be banned, soon the other leading actors join the screen to play for the show,
the show goes great but there is drama afterwards and fights that lead to the public agreeing that Rock and Roll is a negative form of
music
The main character then goes ahead and tries to get the adults to understand by showing them music from when the adults were
young, this makes the adults realise that they would also listen to music that was similar to what their children would listen to now
The point gets across and the adults agree that they have been using Rock and Roll as a scapegoat for their own parental failings,
The show then ends with a Rock and Roll number which now the adults even join along to
