Ian joined Lidl UK in 2005 as a Trainee District Manager and successfully completed their graduate program. He assumed responsibility for various district management positions in the northeast of England. Ian displayed a strong work ethic and professionalism and was a highly valued member of the team. The regional director regretted that no internal opportunities were available for Ian to continue his career with Lidl when he changed career paths in 2011. Ian joined Lidl UK in August 2005 as a Trainee District Manager based in our
Newton Aycliffe region.
Ian successfully completed our Graduate Management Programme for District
managers and was seconded to the facilities management/re-merchandising team
for a period to gain further experience. Ian then assumed responsibility for various
districts throughout the north east of England.
During his time within my region I have always been impressed with the attitude,
approach and professionalism consistently displayed by Ian, who became a highly
valued and respected member of my team.
Ian has shown tremendous loyalty and commitment throughout all of his time at Lidl
