5. WHO CAN APPLY?
We look for candidates who are:
• Fluent in English
• University students in 3rd or 4th year of study expected to graduate in
August 2019 or February 2020
• For those applying to Information Services or Operations (Supply Chain,
Production, Quality) science or engineering major is preferred but not
required. All other function preferences do not require any specific major.

6. HOW DO I APPLY?
The application steps are the following:
1. Complete the online application by clicking APPLY NOW. If you meet the
criteria, you will be invited to the next step.
2. Complete two online tests:
• A Numerical Test will assess your ability to manage and analyze data
• A Situational Judgment Test (SJT) will assess your decision-making abilities
on a wide variety of simulated scenarios
If you meet the criteria, you will be invited to the next step, which is an
online video interview in order to check your level of English and your
motivation.

7. 3. Participate in an on-ground assessment (OGA), the final stage of the
recruitment process. During the OGA, we will meet face-to-face and get
to learn more about each other. You will have a chance to showcase your
skills in business cases and team activities, network with other applicants,
and meet current Philip Morris International employees. To celebrate all
your hard work to make it this far, you will also be invited to attend our
appreciation event where you can continue your networking opportunity

Why does INKOMPASS offer a 2-cycle approach?
INKOMPASS, offers a 2-cycle approach because it is an experiential job
interview, giving you a better chance to showcase your skills and abilities and
giving us a better chance to get to know you.
Across the two cycles, you will work on projects that will allow you to
discover our business challenges, opportunities, processes and systems.
The 1st cycle will give you the opportunity to discover several aspects of our
company (i.e. operations, people and culture) through projects that allow you
to interact with people from different areas.
The 2nd cycle will give you the opportunity to experience a deep dive into a
specific department or functional area.

14. What happens between the 2 cycles of internship?

15. I reside outside of the country where I would like to do my internship,
can I still apply to the program?
Yes, we welcome applications from outside of Korea. However, all candidates
who pass the online test must attend On-Ground Assessment to be held in
mid-November in Korea in order to qualify as a candidate. All costs involved in
travel and accommodation, etc. will be borne by the candidate.

18. If I cannot attend the on-ground assessment, are there any other
dates available?
To become an INKOMPASS Intern, you must attend the On-Ground
Assessment as a part of the selection process. Unfortunately no alternative
dates will be available. Korea's On-Ground Assessment dates will be
November 9th, 2018 in Yangson factory (for operations majors) and
November 15th - 16th in Seoul HQ (for all other majors).

19. Will I receive feedback if I don’t get selected? When?
Yes. You will be informed of your application progress during each step of
the process by your registered email. Whether or not you meet the criteria
to progress on to the next application step, you will receive an email
confirmation regarding your status. If you do not hear back from us within
2-3 weeks of completing an application step, please contact us at

20. When will the internship start and how long will it last? Is there
any flexibility with these dates?
INKOMPASS 2019 Cycle 1 will start January 7, 2019, and will last for 6
weeks. Cycle 2 will start early July and also last for another 6 weeks.
Unless there are inevitable business circumstances, these dates are not
flexible.

21. What are the normal work hours?
Normal work hours are from Monday through Friday, from 9:00AM to
6:00PM. We have flexible working hours, and once you start working in your
respective functions, you will be able to change your work hours
accordingly.

22. Is the INKOMPASS internship paid? What contractual conditions
will I be under as an intern?
Yes, the INKOMPASS internship offers a very competitive salary. All
INKOMPASS interns will be working under an employment contract with
Philip Morris Korea Inc. Your salary will be KRW 3,000,000 (pre-tax) for each
Cycle of the 6 weeks program.

23. Will I be assigned a group project or an individual project?
The projects that we assign to our INKOMPASS interns are carefully
selected by our teams in each functions. Depending on the scope and the
expected deliverables of these projects, we always make sure that all of
our projects meet high quality standards and that they are meaningful and
challenging for our interns.
Interns are never alone during their INKOMPASS experience. They receive
support, coaching and feedback from their Coaches and Buddies.

24. What type of guidance and support can I expect to receive
throughout my program, to help develop me professionally?
Every INKOMPASS intern will receive day-to-day guidance and support from
their COACH, who has the same function as a supervisor. He / she will
introduce you to your project, clarify expectations, guide you on a day-to-
day basis, and provide you with feedback.
In addition, you will also receive support from:
• Your PROJECT SPONSOR, who will ensure you have everything you need
in terms of resources and budget to execute your proposals;
• Your BUDDY, who will help you answer general questions and network
with different people and departments in the company.

25. What is the criteria for advancement into the 2nd cycle of the
program? How will I be assessed?
During the 1st cycle, you will complete a project with a definite scope and
deliverables, based on which you will be assessed. We believe that both
WHAT you achieve / deliver and HOW you do so is important. This is why
you will also be assessed on the behaviours you display which should be
aligned with our company’s work ethics.
Throughout the experience you will receive feedback and guidance so that
you understand what is expected of you. The final assessment will take
place at the end of each internship cycle.

26. Will I receive feedback regarding my performance? When?
Your COACH and PROJECT SPONSOR will provide you with feedback
throughout your INKOMPASS experience.
