This Ramadan during the pandemic of Covid19 and India's lockdown, a group of youth got together to feed India. Here's a glimpse of the impact they made with your support! Together we made a difference!
4. “I am Sarwat. Single Mother of one girl. Have Tuberculosis. Out of
work. No one was coming forward to help us.Very thankful for
providing one month’s ration. May Allah give you all Ajar “
5. “We are a family of 3
orphaned children. No
support. I, the eldest
sister, used to work as a
maid.That stopped and
no other income. We
received much needed
grains and essentials.“
6. Due to ‘Muslims carry virus’
rumors, we were forced out
of our Madarsa to a home in
remote area.With lockdown,
no can step out. Fasting
students as young as 11, did
not have anything to eat You
brought us rations for
Ramadan and more.
7. I used to work as a maid.
Support my divorced
daughter & grand
daughter. My Husband
passed away. After
lockdown, no work and
income. I was worried,
whether is it possible for
me to survive this
Ramadan. I received
rations from you. May
Allah bless you all with
happiness.
8. Ahsan, Age 14.
“Father passed away 4 years ago. My mother is
paralyzed, bed ridden. The only son. I work as a
waiter at night, our only source of income. Go to
school during the day. Now, I am left without any
source of income. We were facing a lot of difficulty.
I thank you all who have come forward to help us
with ration. May Allah SWT give you Ajar
for this noble deed.”
9. A.T. ,Volunteer.A Madarsa
graduate.
“Our town is mostly slums.We
distributed rations in Ramadan
to everyone ... Hope we tried
fulfilling our responsibility as
Muslims towards our brothers
who are not Muslim. May Allah
SWT accept it.Ameen.“
10. SA,Volunteer. Mumbai
“Could not see the misery of
migrant tailors in slums.Turning
point was when a worker went to
collect his wages.A slab fell on him
and died. Have been delivering
ration kits, food and medicines since
