Henry’s stigma compensation theory
• Analyzed statistical data to test the relationship between racial discrimination and murder rates, and assess whether murder
can be understood as a self-regulatory process that members of racial minorities employ in response to their stigmatization
• Conducted a qualitative analysis of the language that leaders in political conflicts use, to find evidence for Dr. Henry’s
idea of antidominance, the results of which has been written into a book chapter
