We now need to use this research and apply it to
our character so that he is accurately grieving.
8. We have one character that is grieving in our film. He is shown in a graveyard, at a funeral and in a
park. He interacts with he childhood friend.
To make sure that these images and interactions fit within the stereotypical ’grieving’ image we are
going to include the following;
Emotionless expressions of the boy
Crying
Hugging from other characters and other efforts to cheer him up
He will be in the depression stage of grieving
He will show signs of fatigue, shock and a feeling as if life is meaningless
He will be shown reaching out to friends and family
