Narrative Essay About The Perfect Day At School
Armani Simmons October 30, 2017 Mrs. TiernanELA
The sun was shining through her blinds. The birds were whistling a beautiful tune. Not one white fluff of a cloud was spotted in the baby blue sky.
The lawn was as perfectly cut as a baseball field and the flowers were blooming. It was just like any other typical spring day. Parents are going to
work kissing their children goodbye. Neighbors saying good morning and reading the paper. It was the perfect day. But something was not right. This
day was a little too perfect. Riley was getting ready for school when she heard her sister call her downstairs to eat breakfast. " Come on Riley. You have
to eat breakfast now or it is going to get cold."
"Okay. Be down in a minute" replied Riley. She ran downstairs dragging her bag behind her. She ran to the kitchen, plopped down right next to her
sister and started snarfing down her breakfast burning her mouth in the process. " So are you going to have a good day at school." asked her sister
Kileise.
"I hope so. There is a new girl coming to school today" replied riley. When Riley arrived at school she was showered with hellos and waves. When
she got in homeroom there was this pretty girl with brunette hair and hazel eyes sitting in her seat. Riley didn't want to be mean so she sat in the seat
right next to her.
"Hello my name is Riley. What's your name?" asked Riley
"My name is isabella but you can call me Bella" responded bella

Personal Narrative : The Perfect Day
"It was the perfect day. The sun was shining, the wind was light and I couldn 't have been happier. How could I have not been happy. I had a great day
of school with all my friends, my mom bought me lunch and I was just on my way to the comic book store. It was a 6 year old 's dream. I was
skipping down the sidewalk, holding my mom's hand when I noticed a weird man in the alleyway. "Want some free comics?" he begrudgingly asked,
and being the idiotic 6 year old I was, I let go of my mother's hand and ran towards him.
At the moment I entered the alley, everything turned dark, literally. As I was stunned by the sudden darkness, the man threw off his cloak and revealed
his villainous suit. It was 'Lights Out". He was a crooked thief who...show more content...
"I am a freaking good looking 14 year old!" I stated to myself, hurrying out of the bathroom and straight to my bedroom to grab my school supplies. I
shoved everything I needed in my bag, my computer, my Hero project and some of many comic books. Once I finished packing, I swiftly sprinted to
the front door, hugged my mom and headed to school.
I was on a steady pace towards school just like any other day, when suddenly someone jumps onto my back and starts screaming "DAMyen Evans,
i'm here for your soul!". "Oh No!" I wailed jokingly as my best friend Sam got off my back. "Ready for school?" he asked politely, and I replied
with a simple 'Meh' as we walked in silence for the rest of the way. Suddenly, a crooked villain landed right in front of Sam and I, taking hold of
Sam with his enormous hands. Stricken with fear, my legs and knees crumbled and I smashed into the ground. I didn't know who the villain was or
what his intentions were, but I saw that he had a superpower, the power to shrink and enlarge his hands at will. "Everyone listen up! Give me all
your money or the kid get's it!" demanded the villain. Sam had a single tear coming down his left eye, and in a very sudden burst of adrenaline, I
charged over to do something, anything I could do to help. Furiously, I started bashing my fists against the villain's hands, when he abruptly slaps me
with other hand, and I closed my eyes. It felt as if an eternity had passed

Descriptive Essay About A Perfect Day
Morning
How breathtaking an early sunrise looked. Nature had never had such beauty to behold. The sun 's rays on the horizon looked so beautiful against
the clouds. It made them turn all different shades of pink, gold and orange. Soon enough, the sunlight has filled up the entire sky. It was totally
worth waking up at the crack of dawn. Despite how tired I was, it was the start to a perfect day. I relaxed while I listened to the birds singing in the
trees. A cold breeze picked up in the wind making me shiver. I was glad. The last couple weeks of summer had been scorching. With the cold breeze in
the wind warmth of the sun on my face;that made it even more spectacular. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. After another half hour on the...show

Another silent tear falls makes it's way down my face and falls onto my tear stained dress. Once silky and beautiful, now crumpled and wet after all the
crying I have just done. Still, no matter how many times my parents have tried to explain to me, I still can't believe it. Princess cannot, and will not(at
least on my watch) –ever die. I have bursted into giant sobs by now. I know my parents are trying to make me feel better, and I really am sorry for
making this whole situation worse –well, not at least entirely. I still can't seem to understand what my parents are trying to tell me. Well, of course I
know what they are saying–I'm not deaf, but I'm having trouble just taking it all in . "Breath, just breath" My parents keep telling me. I get that they
are trying to help me, but it's not working. Not one bit. The more they keep talking to me, the angrier I get. I am really messed up right now. I
guess my emotions are a mix between sad and crying and so angry I feel like I am just about to blow my top. No seriously. By now I've reached to
a point where I am screaming. It's all my fault! No it's not sweetie. my mother tells me for the uptenth time. I feel bad for my sister. Poor Priscilla,

My Day With My Best Friend
After a long stressful test, I was going to spend the day with my best friend, Katherine, for the first time after, so long now that her mom trusted me
more. "Honk!'' was the sound I heard that signaled me that Katherine's dad was here. She opened the door, as usual because she was so courteous
to me at school. I got into the rusty gray Honda. Once I got into the car I knew it was out of my comfort zone because it was my first time meeting
Katherine's Dad outside of school. "Hello, Katherine 's dad," I said tentatively. He responded back with a simple hello and simply resumed his
talk with Katherine as if she had never left the car. They were talking, so quick I had no idea what to do, so I kept quiet the whole car ride and
looked out the window. The whole car ride was of a foreign language I had barely heard Katherine speak at school, when her mom, my 5th grade
math teacher came around. Now as if she had been liberated from those chains that kept her from speaking her native language, she spoke endlessly
with her dad. We arrived at our destination and to my surprise, it was a church. I had never my life been to church on a Saturday afternoon, most likely
because my mom and I only had time to come to church on SundayВґs.So many things were happening at the same time in the same room where
Katherine's dad left us. There was a karate class happening right in front of us while some feet in front there were tables with roses, string, markers, all
scattered up.

Essay on A Day in My Life
A Day in My Life
My alarm clock starts beeping at 7:15 exactly and I groan and try to imagine that it isn't there. When the noise doesn't stop I roll over and hurl the
unlucky object across the room. It invariably hits a precariously balanced pile of books or CD's and they invariably come crashing down, adding to
the scene of devastation that is my bedroom floor. I then slowly drift off to sleep again; until, twenty minuets later, I am rudely awakened by my
mum's voice shouting: "Danny you'll be late for school!".
I turn over looking for my alarm clock and, realising that it's no longer a foot away from my right ear but at the other side of the room, I slowly climb
out of my bed and get...show more content...
After we have walked the length of the school twice we sit down to 15 minutes of tutor time.
While I franticly finish the History homework due in five minutes time everyone else enjoys some time taunting Michael or Ashley about one thing or
another.
As Ben leaves the tutor room I shout after him "Ben! What we got now?"
The reply comes: "Science. Mr Smith."
"OK" I shout as I hurry after him.
First lesson, despite being science, goes past in a dream.
I have decided that however much I may look awake at nine o'clock in the morning I actually do not wake up until ten. Therefore, during first period
(science or not) I am still fast asleep. This means that, except under special circumstances (i.e. a test), the amount of work completed in this lesson is
fairly small.
Second period, I am usually more awake (unless, of course, it is R.E, in which case I remain a deep sleep throughout, even if it's last lesson.).
I.T with Mr. Wisson is almost never enjoyable.
Despite my love of computers I cannot ever manage to squeeze even the slightest bit of satisfaction from an hours typing numbers, letters and
mathematical equations into Excel or some such program. The teacher seems to think that because we are not doing IT long course we are all
computer illiterate fools who find it hard to use Microsoft Word.

Essay on My Day
My Day I wake up every morning with a shock, my mum knocking at the door and shouting,
"Time for a shower." I'm always tired in the mornings and find getting up for a shower really horrible, though it does a good job of waking me up and
after it I'm ready for another day at school. Well that is what I think but I usually end up in bed asleep right up until 7.45 am. Luckily I have usually
packed my school stuff the night before.
My house is quite big and there is lots of room to get away from the rest of my family. I have a computer in my room and I spend quite a lot of time on

Another couple of friends arrive at this house too and we all get together and walk to school. This walking to school together gives me a good
opportunity to make after school arrangements. Once at school (the walk takes about 15 minutes) I go to my tutor base and catch up with my friends
who don't walk to school with me. After a short rest I make my way to my first lesson on a Monday usually English.
English requires a lot of work and its quite interesting. All year it's work, work, work, which is hardly surprising seeing that it's GCSE year. I'm going
to need to work hard because qualifications are a necessary part of any career and I definitely want a career not just a job.
After the first two lessons I usually eat my lunch. It may seem strange that I eat my lunch at break but it takes so much time queuing at lunchtime just
so I can sit down and eat some food that I would rather eat my packed lunch early freeing up time at lunch for other activities. The only downside to
this is that you have lots of people surrounding you begging for food. Most people would probably just say "No", but I have real problems with
saying "No" and more often than not half my food is devoured by these hungry beasts.
Once break is finished I work until the real lunch time and then I hang around the common room or go to the library and do

This Perfect Day
This Perfect Day is probably Ira Levin's greatest work of his career. Levin's work, despite being written in 1970, is very plausible having realistic
technology, such as scanners and computers which watch over the entire family, the entire population of the world. This novel could be used to show
the dangers of a Utopian society as well as being full of anti–Communist and anti–racist sentiment. This Perfect Day also displays the feeling that
communist and segregated institutions can be defeated, as the protagonist Chip over powers the "family" and their vile Uni Comp as well as rising
above the segregated community he reaches after fleeing the family. This work could best be placed in an area of the curriculum where it is...show more

My Day With My Family
I believe that I feel the most comfortable when I am home with my family. Any activity we do together is amazing. Whether it's watching a movie
together, having dinner, or having something to talk about. There is always a time of the day where we just have a good laugh about something
that happened throughout the day. I know my family will always be there for me and I will do the same for them. I believe that I am blessed to
have such a loving, caring, and compassionate family. I believe when times are tough, my family is my true comfort. Even if it's the smallest thing
like a headache or stomachache I feel better with just my mom doing anything for me to feel better. I don't need medicine to heal the smallest
pains; all I need is my family's love. I've never looked at another family and thought, "wow they have an amazing relationship, i am jealous".
Sometimes I do the opposite because I never had thought wrong about my family even when we're aggravated sometimes. I remember during the
summer we would have a cookout every single Saturday and Sunday. We would all get together and have my dads "special asadas". Which are a
special steak well done with allot of lime and spices. We would sit there for hours eating and having a beer. We would call close friends that we even
call family. I believe there is no perfect life or perfect family. I believe my family will overcome anything that causes pain or misery. I believe that we
are in full control of our own wellness, both

My Perfect Day
I have always wanted the opportunity to have a day where I had a choice of whatever I wanted to do, regardless of cost. To me personally, family
time is essential, and all these activities that I would do in my perfect day wouldn't be the same if I didn't have family with me. As the day goes
on, it becomes obvious that this is a very unrealistic day, cost and time wise. The places I would visit, the old friends I get to see again, and even
the great food I would get to eat, make my perfect day truly special. My perfect day would consist of time with old friends and family, but would
also include activities I would probably never get the chance to do in my normal life. The morning would get off to a sizzling start, as I would
wake up to the luscious scent of my dad making the delicious bacon he does every so often, and the already made pancakes stacked as high as a
tower on a plate. As I devour the pancakes, my brother wakes up to his own plate of his favorite breakfast. After the great breakfast, we get in the
car and make our way to North Canton, where we lived just four years ago. We would visit old church friends and some of my best school friends
and teachers. Then, I would speak to the schools about my time there and how much the schools impacted me even when I've been in Ashland. I still
keep in touch with many people from there, but not nearly as many people as I would see on this morning trip. After the good times at the schools
were finished, I would walk down to

My Best Day Essay : My Perfect Day
Have you ever wondered what a perfect day would be like? An everyday routine starts to get annoying and boring, especially if you don't get a day
off. At the moment, my routine is to wake up early, get ready for school, go to school, and after a long day come back home. From the time I get
home which is around two in the afternoon and by the time I go to sleep, it all consists of doing homework. Sometimes I wish I can at least take a day
off and relax, with having no worries. The idea of a perfect day for me should be a day to get rid of stress, and should be an unforgettable day.
As the sun started to come out, I knew it was time to start my day. The perfect day that I've always dreamed of was going to be today. I looked at my

In the meantime, while I was waiting for my food to get here I went to the kitchen to wash the dishes that I left in the morning. After my food got
delivered I went back into my bed and started eating my orange chicken with rice. By that time, I was already in the fourth movie, all of a sudden it
was really dark outside, but I was not scared at all, even though I was home alone. Now it was around ten at night and I had finished watching the
Halloween series. I turned my tv off and started playing really loud music on my speaker. I knew it was nighttime and the neighbors might complain,
but at the moment I didn't care about anything. I enjoy listening to depressing songs specially from Coldplay which gets me in the mood to cry. My
eyes began to close so I turned my speaker off as well as the light and I went to sleep. At last, a perfect day for me should be different from any
ordinary day, and should enjoy it like as if it was my last. I see a perfect day as not something outstanding, but more of like a lazy day. This day was
one of the best days I've ever had because it's been forever since I've taken a break. Many people might do something like this on a regular day, but for
me it was one of the days where I got to stay in bed, relax, and let all of the stress out. Days like this doesn't hurt and everyone has their own ideal day,
but for me is all about being comfortable. As long as, I have a day off

What part did I dream and what was reality?? Where was Ashiya when I wanted her the most? Why am I here? What is the confusion? Why can't I

Essay about A Perfect Day in the Ocean
A Perfect Day in the Ocean
As I watch, the waves from the shore look fun and almost innocent as they crest and then crash over one another. I can taste the salt in they air and
watch little rainbows glisten through the prisms of the ocean's spray. The warm ocean water toward the shore is covered with foam and bubbles from
the rumbling waves as children and their families play in the gritty tan colored sand. I think to myself, "This is perfect".
I make the final preparations on my Yamaha Waverunner. All of the fluid levelscheck full and there is a faint smell of gasoline mixed with the aromas
of salt and fish in the air. I am now ready to brave and jump the mighty ocean waves of South Padre Island!

I navigate my way through the docks until I am in the channel. I can now press the throttle and hang on for a fun ride! While the waves through the
exit channel are only half of the size of the ocean's mighty waves, this gives me time to warm up and get in sync with the powerful 135 horse
powered Waverunner. I am now ready to take on the Gulf of Mexico!
I drive out far enough to stay out of the foamy white surf. Suddenly, the ocean begins to crest around me. As I drive into the waves, I am careful to
only depress the throttle to a maximum of half power. Any more would be foolish and could cause a wipeout. I approach a wave with a perfect peak
and at the ideal time. I gently squeeze the throttle and the loud roar of the engine fills my ears as the power pushes me up to the foamy white crest of
the wave.
In an instant, I am no longer floating on the water, but I am soaring like the beautiful white birds through the misty air. In one brief moment, I look
down and estimate that I am eight to ten feet in the air for a split second before I begin my descent back to the briny waters. In a flash the back end of
the Waverunner sits down into the ocean with the front following in a rocking motion. All around me is a finespray of the salty water. I have landed!

The Perfect Day
First... You must get clear, crystal clear, on exactly what it is that you want in life. The first step to success begins with the clearest vision of exactly
this, what you want. This can shift. As we grow and evolve, things change. Desires change. What you want may change, which is ok, that's fine, and
that's good, change is good, but you've got to stay clear on this vision. If you're not absolutely, 100% clear on exactly what it is you're creating, you'll
be left with whatever scraps everyone else didn't want. Whatever's left over, whatever everyone isn't consciously, actively creating with intent, is
exactly what you'll be left with, and that's exactly what you'll get. This is why clarity on what you want is so important. It's foundational to the success
you'll create in this life. The Perfect Day...show more content...

My "Perfect" City
I. Utilities
The city I propose as a perfect city, would be as close to an ecocity as possible, although have some differences. For example, for electrical needs, I
would suggest the city have a solar power plant, but on those desperate times, energy would be bought from other electrical plants from nearby towns
or states.
Water purification and a wastewater treatment plants would be necessary in order to provide the citizens and visitors with clean healthy water. To
prevent flooding, this city was built on flood plains.
Solid waste pickup services will exist, preventing litter and garbage...show more content...
Paddleboats would be popular in the lakes and river. Walking and biking would be the most influenced form of transportation. Neighborhood stores
would be encouraged, promoting bike and walk transportation. No mass transportation systems will be found running through the city.
III. Density of Homes
Understandably, some people enjoy large lawns. For every 1 home that is built on an acre property, 2 homes have to be built on ВЅ acre property. The
homes will be built more northern and away from the river. Towards the southern part of the river will only be green space and nature preserves. The
city will have a medium density
IV. Businesses/Industry/Commercial
Tourism will be the major money catcher on the lake and riverside areas. Tourists will be attracted to the city's beauty and fun activities (see
aesthetics). Although tourism brings in a lot of money, small animal and vegetable farms will be maintained, providing the city with some of its food
portion. Gardens will also be kept at most of the homes. Not much food will be transported into the city. The city will try to be the most independent
possible. Building will use the solar heat method for water and space heating on those rare occasions when necessary.

My Best Day Essay
We hope your year has been filled with special opportunities to share joy and celebrate life, because in the blink of an eye everything can change.
Don't wait to live! From the tragedies on national news to the heart aches of friends that hit closer to home, we are reminded about how precious our
days and moments are. Those moments that fill our memory bank with joy. So take the trip, spend time with your loved ones, laugh a little more and
make the rest of your life the best of your life!
The best thing about memories is making them, right!? We collected plenty this year from the simple joy of camping withfamily and friends to a
mother–son fishing trip where Kody may have caught the biggest fish, but spending time with him was my bonus! We also love spending time with
the Harvey family who invited me to my first official concert as an adult (I know, hard to believe) Wahoo Dirks, Swindell and Pardy! The Harvey's
were also party guides for Becca and I's first but super awesome Chiefs Kingdome experience. Becca and her friends have enjoyed several concerts
since then and my sister Kristie and I lived it up at Country Stampede. Checking one off her wish list while adding to our priceless sister memories.
Hopefully you are seeing the pattern here... chase the opportunity to fill your days with happiness and meaning. Sometimes that means calling a friend
to hear their voice or driving to Grand Lake Colorado to give them a hug and toasting to the best of friends at happy

Narrative Essay About The Perfect Day At School

  • 1. Narrative Essay About The Perfect Day At School Armani Simmons October 30, 2017 Mrs. TiernanELA The sun was shining through her blinds. The birds were whistling a beautiful tune. Not one white fluff of a cloud was spotted in the baby blue sky. The lawn was as perfectly cut as a baseball field and the flowers were blooming. It was just like any other typical spring day. Parents are going to work kissing their children goodbye. Neighbors saying good morning and reading the paper. It was the perfect day. But something was not right. This day was a little too perfect. Riley was getting ready for school when she heard her sister call her downstairs to eat breakfast. " Come on Riley. You have to eat breakfast now or it is going to get cold." "Okay. Be down in a minute" replied Riley. She ran downstairs dragging her bag behind her. She ran to the kitchen, plopped down right next to her sister and started snarfing down her breakfast burning her mouth in the process. " So are you going to have a good day at school." asked her sister Kileise. "I hope so. There is a new girl coming to school today" replied riley. When Riley arrived at school she was showered with hellos and waves. When she got in homeroom there was this pretty girl with brunette hair and hazel eyes sitting in her seat. Riley didn't want to be mean so she sat in the seat right next to her. "Hello my name is Riley. What's your name?" asked Riley "My name is isabella but you can call me Bella" responded bella Then she just turned Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 3. Personal Narrative : The Perfect Day "It was the perfect day. The sun was shining, the wind was light and I couldn 't have been happier. How could I have not been happy. I had a great day of school with all my friends, my mom bought me lunch and I was just on my way to the comic book store. It was a 6 year old 's dream. I was skipping down the sidewalk, holding my mom's hand when I noticed a weird man in the alleyway. "Want some free comics?" he begrudgingly asked, and being the idiotic 6 year old I was, I let go of my mother's hand and ran towards him. At the moment I entered the alley, everything turned dark, literally. As I was stunned by the sudden darkness, the man threw off his cloak and revealed his villainous suit. It was 'Lights Out". He was a crooked thief who...show more content... "I am a freaking good looking 14 year old!" I stated to myself, hurrying out of the bathroom and straight to my bedroom to grab my school supplies. I shoved everything I needed in my bag, my computer, my Hero project and some of many comic books. Once I finished packing, I swiftly sprinted to the front door, hugged my mom and headed to school. I was on a steady pace towards school just like any other day, when suddenly someone jumps onto my back and starts screaming "DAMyen Evans, i'm here for your soul!". "Oh No!" I wailed jokingly as my best friend Sam got off my back. "Ready for school?" he asked politely, and I replied with a simple 'Meh' as we walked in silence for the rest of the way. Suddenly, a crooked villain landed right in front of Sam and I, taking hold of Sam with his enormous hands. Stricken with fear, my legs and knees crumbled and I smashed into the ground. I didn't know who the villain was or what his intentions were, but I saw that he had a superpower, the power to shrink and enlarge his hands at will. "Everyone listen up! Give me all your money or the kid get's it!" demanded the villain. Sam had a single tear coming down his left eye, and in a very sudden burst of adrenaline, I charged over to do something, anything I could do to help. Furiously, I started bashing my fists against the villain's hands, when he abruptly slaps me with other hand, and I closed my eyes. It felt as if an eternity had passed Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Descriptive Essay About A Perfect Day Morning How breathtaking an early sunrise looked. Nature had never had such beauty to behold. The sun 's rays on the horizon looked so beautiful against the clouds. It made them turn all different shades of pink, gold and orange. Soon enough, the sunlight has filled up the entire sky. It was totally worth waking up at the crack of dawn. Despite how tired I was, it was the start to a perfect day. I relaxed while I listened to the birds singing in the trees. A cold breeze picked up in the wind making me shiver. I was glad. The last couple weeks of summer had been scorching. With the cold breeze in the wind warmth of the sun on my face;that made it even more spectacular. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. After another half hour on the...show more content... Little did I know it was the biggest mistake I have ever made... Afternoon Another silent tear falls makes it's way down my face and falls onto my tear stained dress. Once silky and beautiful, now crumpled and wet after all the crying I have just done. Still, no matter how many times my parents have tried to explain to me, I still can't believe it. Princess cannot, and will not(at least on my watch) –ever die. I have bursted into giant sobs by now. I know my parents are trying to make me feel better, and I really am sorry for making this whole situation worse –well, not at least entirely. I still can't seem to understand what my parents are trying to tell me. Well, of course I know what they are saying–I'm not deaf, but I'm having trouble just taking it all in . "Breath, just breath" My parents keep telling me. I get that they are trying to help me, but it's not working. Not one bit. The more they keep talking to me, the angrier I get. I am really messed up right now. I guess my emotions are a mix between sad and crying and so angry I feel like I am just about to blow my top. No seriously. By now I've reached to a point where I am screaming. It's all my fault! No it's not sweetie. my mother tells me for the uptenth time. I feel bad for my sister. Poor Priscilla, sitting down on the couch watching all the chaos go on while I scream between giant sobs. My twin sister is very silent, but once you get to know her, she is super Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My Day With My Best Friend After a long stressful test, I was going to spend the day with my best friend, Katherine, for the first time after, so long now that her mom trusted me more. "Honk!'' was the sound I heard that signaled me that Katherine's dad was here. She opened the door, as usual because she was so courteous to me at school. I got into the rusty gray Honda. Once I got into the car I knew it was out of my comfort zone because it was my first time meeting Katherine's Dad outside of school. "Hello, Katherine 's dad," I said tentatively. He responded back with a simple hello and simply resumed his talk with Katherine as if she had never left the car. They were talking, so quick I had no idea what to do, so I kept quiet the whole car ride and looked out the window. The whole car ride was of a foreign language I had barely heard Katherine speak at school, when her mom, my 5th grade math teacher came around. Now as if she had been liberated from those chains that kept her from speaking her native language, she spoke endlessly with her dad. We arrived at our destination and to my surprise, it was a church. I had never my life been to church on a Saturday afternoon, most likely because my mom and I only had time to come to church on SundayВґs.So many things were happening at the same time in the same room where Katherine's dad left us. There was a karate class happening right in front of us while some feet in front there were tables with roses, string, markers, all scattered up. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay on A Day in My Life A Day in My Life My alarm clock starts beeping at 7:15 exactly and I groan and try to imagine that it isn't there. When the noise doesn't stop I roll over and hurl the unlucky object across the room. It invariably hits a precariously balanced pile of books or CD's and they invariably come crashing down, adding to the scene of devastation that is my bedroom floor. I then slowly drift off to sleep again; until, twenty minuets later, I am rudely awakened by my mum's voice shouting: "Danny you'll be late for school!". I turn over looking for my alarm clock and, realising that it's no longer a foot away from my right ear but at the other side of the room, I slowly climb out of my bed and get...show more content... After we have walked the length of the school twice we sit down to 15 minutes of tutor time. While I franticly finish the History homework due in five minutes time everyone else enjoys some time taunting Michael or Ashley about one thing or another. As Ben leaves the tutor room I shout after him "Ben! What we got now?" The reply comes: "Science. Mr Smith." "OK" I shout as I hurry after him. First lesson, despite being science, goes past in a dream. I have decided that however much I may look awake at nine o'clock in the morning I actually do not wake up until ten. Therefore, during first period (science or not) I am still fast asleep. This means that, except under special circumstances (i.e. a test), the amount of work completed in this lesson is fairly small.
  • 7. Second period, I am usually more awake (unless, of course, it is R.E, in which case I remain a deep sleep throughout, even if it's last lesson.). I.T with Mr. Wisson is almost never enjoyable. Despite my love of computers I cannot ever manage to squeeze even the slightest bit of satisfaction from an hours typing numbers, letters and mathematical equations into Excel or some such program. The teacher seems to think that because we are not doing IT long course we are all computer illiterate fools who find it hard to use Microsoft Word. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Essay on My Day My Day I wake up every morning with a shock, my mum knocking at the door and shouting, "Time for a shower." I'm always tired in the mornings and find getting up for a shower really horrible, though it does a good job of waking me up and after it I'm ready for another day at school. Well that is what I think but I usually end up in bed asleep right up until 7.45 am. Luckily I have usually packed my school stuff the night before. My house is quite big and there is lots of room to get away from the rest of my family. I have a computer in my room and I spend quite a lot of time on ...show more content... Another couple of friends arrive at this house too and we all get together and walk to school. This walking to school together gives me a good opportunity to make after school arrangements. Once at school (the walk takes about 15 minutes) I go to my tutor base and catch up with my friends who don't walk to school with me. After a short rest I make my way to my first lesson on a Monday usually English. English requires a lot of work and its quite interesting. All year it's work, work, work, which is hardly surprising seeing that it's GCSE year. I'm going to need to work hard because qualifications are a necessary part of any career and I definitely want a career not just a job. After the first two lessons I usually eat my lunch. It may seem strange that I eat my lunch at break but it takes so much time queuing at lunchtime just so I can sit down and eat some food that I would rather eat my packed lunch early freeing up time at lunch for other activities. The only downside to this is that you have lots of people surrounding you begging for food. Most people would probably just say "No", but I have real problems with saying "No" and more often than not half my food is devoured by these hungry beasts. Once break is finished I work until the real lunch time and then I hang around the common room or go to the library and do Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. This Perfect Day This Perfect Day is probably Ira Levin's greatest work of his career. Levin's work, despite being written in 1970, is very plausible having realistic technology, such as scanners and computers which watch over the entire family, the entire population of the world. This novel could be used to show the dangers of a Utopian society as well as being full of anti–Communist and anti–racist sentiment. This Perfect Day also displays the feeling that communist and segregated institutions can be defeated, as the protagonist Chip over powers the "family" and their vile Uni Comp as well as rising above the segregated community he reaches after fleeing the family. This work could best be placed in an area of the curriculum where it is...show more content... Eventually, in a sudden rage, Chip is caught, his treatments increased to normal. Once treated Chip admits to all he knows and tells everything about the sick members leading the group to be broken up and for all the "sick" member's treatments to be returned to normal. Chip lives how a good member should, until the end of one month when he spies a leaf on a wet rock and considers the possibilities. He could make a small flesh colored covering that goes over his arm and it would not allow the treatments to penetrate his skin. What would happen when he was not treated at all. He would be able to explore all of his feelings to the fullest. After a few months of planning and calculating without treatment. Chip sneaks his way to Africa where he has found that Lilac now lives. He steals her away and of course she resists, after she says some nasty things a few weeks later, he rapes her which pushes her even further away. But eventually as her last treatment wears off she begins to agree with Chip and at first says she'll only go to the island with him, then they'll go their separate ways, but then she says she will stay with him once they arrive as well. Eventually they reach the island Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 11. My Day With My Family I believe that I feel the most comfortable when I am home with my family. Any activity we do together is amazing. Whether it's watching a movie together, having dinner, or having something to talk about. There is always a time of the day where we just have a good laugh about something that happened throughout the day. I know my family will always be there for me and I will do the same for them. I believe that I am blessed to have such a loving, caring, and compassionate family. I believe when times are tough, my family is my true comfort. Even if it's the smallest thing like a headache or stomachache I feel better with just my mom doing anything for me to feel better. I don't need medicine to heal the smallest pains; all I need is my family's love. I've never looked at another family and thought, "wow they have an amazing relationship, i am jealous". Sometimes I do the opposite because I never had thought wrong about my family even when we're aggravated sometimes. I remember during the summer we would have a cookout every single Saturday and Sunday. We would all get together and have my dads "special asadas". Which are a special steak well done with allot of lime and spices. We would sit there for hours eating and having a beer. We would call close friends that we even call family. I believe there is no perfect life or perfect family. I believe my family will overcome anything that causes pain or misery. I believe that we are in full control of our own wellness, both Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. My Perfect Day I have always wanted the opportunity to have a day where I had a choice of whatever I wanted to do, regardless of cost. To me personally, family time is essential, and all these activities that I would do in my perfect day wouldn't be the same if I didn't have family with me. As the day goes on, it becomes obvious that this is a very unrealistic day, cost and time wise. The places I would visit, the old friends I get to see again, and even the great food I would get to eat, make my perfect day truly special. My perfect day would consist of time with old friends and family, but would also include activities I would probably never get the chance to do in my normal life. The morning would get off to a sizzling start, as I would wake up to the luscious scent of my dad making the delicious bacon he does every so often, and the already made pancakes stacked as high as a tower on a plate. As I devour the pancakes, my brother wakes up to his own plate of his favorite breakfast. After the great breakfast, we get in the car and make our way to North Canton, where we lived just four years ago. We would visit old church friends and some of my best school friends and teachers. Then, I would speak to the schools about my time there and how much the schools impacted me even when I've been in Ashland. I still keep in touch with many people from there, but not nearly as many people as I would see on this morning trip. After the good times at the schools were finished, I would walk down to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. My Best Day Essay : My Perfect Day Have you ever wondered what a perfect day would be like? An everyday routine starts to get annoying and boring, especially if you don't get a day off. At the moment, my routine is to wake up early, get ready for school, go to school, and after a long day come back home. From the time I get home which is around two in the afternoon and by the time I go to sleep, it all consists of doing homework. Sometimes I wish I can at least take a day off and relax, with having no worries. The idea of a perfect day for me should be a day to get rid of stress, and should be an unforgettable day. As the sun started to come out, I knew it was time to start my day. The perfect day that I've always dreamed of was going to be today. I looked at my ...show more content... In the meantime, while I was waiting for my food to get here I went to the kitchen to wash the dishes that I left in the morning. After my food got delivered I went back into my bed and started eating my orange chicken with rice. By that time, I was already in the fourth movie, all of a sudden it was really dark outside, but I was not scared at all, even though I was home alone. Now it was around ten at night and I had finished watching the Halloween series. I turned my tv off and started playing really loud music on my speaker. I knew it was nighttime and the neighbors might complain, but at the moment I didn't care about anything. I enjoy listening to depressing songs specially from Coldplay which gets me in the mood to cry. My eyes began to close so I turned my speaker off as well as the light and I went to sleep. At last, a perfect day for me should be different from any ordinary day, and should enjoy it like as if it was my last. I see a perfect day as not something outstanding, but more of like a lazy day. This day was one of the best days I've ever had because it's been forever since I've taken a break. Many people might do something like this on a regular day, but for me it was one of the days where I got to stay in bed, relax, and let all of the stress out. Days like this doesn't hurt and everyone has their own ideal day, but for me is all about being comfortable. As long as, I have a day off Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. It Was A Perfect Day Essay It was a perfect day. The sun was like always, shining bright. No dark clouds to mar the beauty of the sky. But life is a surprise. You never know what to expect from it. One second I stood there; looking at my watch and counting the time if I could slip to the burger joint and pick a quick meal or I had to rush inside the interiors of world trade centre and start with another long day at office... And in that nano split second; THE CHOICE WAS MADE If someone asked me right then, what happened, I would not have been able to say. It's like a flash. You blink your eyes and open it and wham. Nothing remains the same. The earth might not have shifted on the axis, but for too many people, the world turned upside down and it will never straighten again....show more content... The nurse told me, I suffered major head injuries. Something to do with shock. Big medical words. I don't know. I cannot recall... The only thing I could recall was my wife. And the dream which by now I had no clue what it was. My head was roaring... I couldn't separate reality and dream. What part did I dream and what was reality?? Where was Ashiya when I wanted her the most? Why am I here? What is the confusion? Why can't I recall things with clarity? I called on Allah; I wanted some clearance of mind. Was I dreaming? I called the nurse, but she had to rush. There were too many patients. Too many wounds. Too much blood. Was the plane dream true? NOOOOOOOOOO, I screamed and the nurse came running. I don't recall what happened after that. Except I woke up in a cell. Nope, not the fancy cell... 4 by 4 room with almost no space to breathe and an angry, tired, scary, tall, hurt, police officer staring me in my eyes... "Mr. Abdul, what role you played in 9/11. We need names" I could barely understand. "Where's Ashiya", I asked. You were reported celebrating the event and calling it a dream "Where is Ashiya?" I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Essay about A Perfect Day in the Ocean A Perfect Day in the Ocean As I watch, the waves from the shore look fun and almost innocent as they crest and then crash over one another. I can taste the salt in they air and watch little rainbows glisten through the prisms of the ocean's spray. The warm ocean water toward the shore is covered with foam and bubbles from the rumbling waves as children and their families play in the gritty tan colored sand. I think to myself, "This is perfect". I make the final preparations on my Yamaha Waverunner. All of the fluid levelscheck full and there is a faint smell of gasoline mixed with the aromas of salt and fish in the air. I am now ready to brave and jump the mighty ocean waves of South Padre Island! Before the truck backs the...show more content... I navigate my way through the docks until I am in the channel. I can now press the throttle and hang on for a fun ride! While the waves through the exit channel are only half of the size of the ocean's mighty waves, this gives me time to warm up and get in sync with the powerful 135 horse powered Waverunner. I am now ready to take on the Gulf of Mexico! I drive out far enough to stay out of the foamy white surf. Suddenly, the ocean begins to crest around me. As I drive into the waves, I am careful to only depress the throttle to a maximum of half power. Any more would be foolish and could cause a wipeout. I approach a wave with a perfect peak and at the ideal time. I gently squeeze the throttle and the loud roar of the engine fills my ears as the power pushes me up to the foamy white crest of the wave. In an instant, I am no longer floating on the water, but I am soaring like the beautiful white birds through the misty air. In one brief moment, I look down and estimate that I am eight to ten feet in the air for a split second before I begin my descent back to the briny waters. In a flash the back end of the Waverunner sits down into the ocean with the front following in a rocking motion. All around me is a finespray of the salty water. I have landed! Salt and sweat mix to run down my face and into my mouth. I swallow some of the brackish

  • 18. The Perfect Day First... You must get clear, crystal clear, on exactly what it is that you want in life. The first step to success begins with the clearest vision of exactly this, what you want. This can shift. As we grow and evolve, things change. Desires change. What you want may change, which is ok, that's fine, and that's good, change is good, but you've got to stay clear on this vision. If you're not absolutely, 100% clear on exactly what it is you're creating, you'll be left with whatever scraps everyone else didn't want. Whatever's left over, whatever everyone isn't consciously, actively creating with intent, is exactly what you'll be left with, and that's exactly what you'll get. This is why clarity on what you want is so important. It's foundational to the success you'll create in this life. The Perfect Day...show more content... • 19. My Perfect City Essay My "Perfect" City I. Utilities The city I propose as a perfect city, would be as close to an ecocity as possible, although have some differences. For example, for electrical needs, I would suggest the city have a solar power plant, but on those desperate times, energy would be bought from other electrical plants from nearby towns or states. Water purification and a wastewater treatment plants would be necessary in order to provide the citizens and visitors with clean healthy water. To prevent flooding, this city was built on flood plains. Solid waste pickup services will exist, preventing litter and garbage...show more content... Neighborhood stores would be encouraged, promoting bike and walk transportation. No mass transportation systems will be found running through the city. III. The homes will be built more northern and away from the river. Towards the southern part of the river will only be green space and nature preserves. The city will have a medium density IV. Businesses/Industry/Commercial Tourism will be the major money catcher on the lake and riverside areas. Tourists will be attracted to the city's beauty and fun activities (see aesthetics). Although tourism brings in a lot of money, small animal and vegetable farms will be maintained, providing the city with some of its food portion. Gardens will also be kept at most of the homes. Not much food will be transported into the city. The city will try to be the most independent possible. Building will use the solar heat method for water and space heating on those rare occasions when necessary.

  • 21. Perfect Day Research Paper My perfect day would begin with sleeping in until eight in the morning after a full night of sleep. I would wake up without an alarm clock and have plenty of time to stretch in bed half awake. My morning run would be the perfect temperature of cool with a breeze. The sidewalks would have not a soul on them so I could sweat in solitude. After showering and having ample time to get ready I would go to the beach, which is five yards from my doorstep. I would eat breakfast and read all the books I want without having to check my phone whatsoever. The only thing on my to do list is to relax in the sun all day. Tanning would not result in getting sunburned or developing some abhorrent new mole. Since this is my perfect day, I am not going to be shy Get more content on HelpWriting.net
