4. Listening:
“Listening is a process of re–
ceiving,integrating and reacting to the
massage received from communication –
sender.”
Listening ts an action in which—
we choose to actively concentrate on –
what we hear.We need to put in a lot
more effort in terms of attention, proce–
ssing, thinking and analysing. We do not think
5. about anythings else or get engaged in–
any other task.
When we listening anythings,
we can understand and remember it so–
easily. When we go to bed and fall a sleep,we
are hearing an alarm system–
which operates even outside our imme–
diate awareness, that is listening. This is an
active process.
6. Benefits of listening:
We are appreciated if we listen with–
full focus.
For quick and better result.
Improve the qualityof company and org–
anisation and anythings.
Understanding each other.
7. Hearing:
Hearing is an action in which
a sound is perceived by the ear.Very
little or no efforts is required as our
mind may be occupied with other
thoughts or perhaps we ate engaged
In different task while other person
is sharing his or her thought with us.
8. When we are at home,we might hear
the sound of otherthings likes the sound
of other people talking, voice of cooking in
the kitchen etc. That is happening around.
Hearing occurs even in sleep,where
the ear processes the sound and passes
them on to the brain, but the brain does
not always react to thesound. In short,
When we were hearing,we were not pres–
ent mentaly.
9. Why is Listening more important than
Hearind?
If we need to understand the im–
portance of listening, just think for a
moment.When we speak to someone,
what do we expect them to do.
Listening is important because it
help us socialise and get along in a–
professional environment.Listening shows
10. People that ulyou are interacting with
them and give importance to their
thought and feeling. It help us co–op
erate with other people and make
decision easily without errors.
Listeners understand better and are more
productive.
