- SharePoint is a platform, not a finished product With the most recent editions of SharePoint, it has become more difficult for non-developers to impact SharePoint look and feel. While some think of SharePoint Designer as “SharePoint Destroyer,” it did allow power users a way to be involved in design in some fashion However, because it could do so much and its all-or-nothing requirements.
