The International day for fight against Cancer, each year on February 04, constitutes the international initiative of gathering led by the International Union against Cancer (UICC). It is with this in mind that HJ Foundation joined PBM Health Africa and other partners in celebrating this day which was chaired by the Minister of Public Health of the DRC which took place at Camp Kokolo. During this ceremony, mobile clinics were presented for free screening and immediate medical management of precancerous lesions of the breast, cervix for women from 25 to 65 years of age and screening for cancer of the prostate by PSA assay were conducted.

Patient after successful surgery…
Baby Emmanuela has a tragic story: she was
operated on twice for appendicitis without
success, her life was in danger and her family
contacted HJ Foundation who agreed to cover
all her care including her food and nutrition.
To reassure her about the success of the
upcoming surgery, she has undergone all the
exams possible and the HJ Foundation is even
taking care of her food and nutrition expenses
so that she is eating well to reach a normal
weight for her procedure
Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi have supported
more than 100 free Cataract and Glaucoma
surgeries for poor people.
After several days of the surgeries that
followed, the large and very professional
team of HJ Hospitals came to the end of the
said surgeries which were all performed
successfully.
