* Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder
due to either insulin deficiency or due to peripheral
tissue resistance to the action of insulin.
*Diabetes Mellitus is known from Vedic period
onwards by the name Asrava (Prameha) and also
known as Madhumeha in Ayurveda.
*Madhumeha is a multifactorial disease resulting
from a gene environment interaction.

*Managing Diabetes from pharmacological aspects of new drugs,
insulin pens, insulin pump, etc. help to restore life till death, but it
has no surety that how long does the drug responds and how to
avoid or how to treat the complications.
*However, our Ayurvedic Rasaushadhis are having a unique quality
and along with these the non – pharmacological therapy like diet,
lifestyle, yoga etc. are also highly effective in Madhumeha and are
having nearly no complications.
