Baptist Health South Florida’s Very Own, Ms. Linda Knudsen, is Recognized for Her Accomplishments
Within the Chamber
Miami, FL - Linda Knudsen has been named the 2014-2015 Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce
Chairman. Ms. Knudsen’s focusis to implement and execute business objectives and continue with
the idea of networking as the number one priority. As the new Chair, Linda has decided on a new
theme forthe year and that is Chamber YOU. The idea of Chamber YOU is placing emphasis on the
members and discovering new success strategies.
Knudsen says, “Ihave wornmany hats within the Chamber but this position, by far, is the most
important. My main goals are focuson our supporters and encourage them to implement their
ideas so their businesses can prosper.”
Prior to assuming the position as Chair of the Board of Directors, Ms. Knudsen held the positions of
Vice Chair of Special Events,Parliamentarian, and Chair of the Trustee Council as wellas several
committee chair positions. She has been an active member of the Gables Chamber representing
Baptist Health South Florida for more than 15 years. Ms. Knudsen is the corporate director of
organizational culture and communication withthe Officeof Diversity forat Baptist Health South
Florida. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Art from the University of Miami. She is a past
president of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves on the Board of Directors
for the Ana G. Mendez University System.

here to be successful,” says President, Mark A. Trowbridge.
Founded in 1925 by George E. Merrick, the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce is a 1,500+ member,
not-for-profitbusiness association whose mission is to foster and enhance the economic interests
and quality of life in the Coral Gables community. Currently the Chamber boasts over 750
companies as members making it the second largest Chamber of Commerce in Miami-Dade County,
and the fourth in South Florida.
