DIVE EXPERIENCE
• 2016 Certified PADI OWSI & able to teach 7 specialties,
including Wreck, Deep, O2 & Nitrox, and EFR, at Blue Season
Bali, & I’m ready to bring my experience & enthusiasm to the
right Dive Operation now!
• 2012 Certified PADI AI, began assisting with classes from OW
to DM.
• 2011 Certified PADI AOW, Rescue Diver & Divemaster, began
helping with DSD’s.
• 1984-2005 Began a 22 year career in commercial diving,
harvesting sea urchins, during which I logged over 5,000 dives in
a variety of often extreme conditions, ranging from Bodega Bay,
Northern California, down to, and including all of the Channel
Islands and coastal waters of So.Cal. I handled a variety of boats,
dealt with sales of product, led underwater surveys & navigation
with DPV’s, harvested urchins on 300’ hoses (hookah), and
designed & manufactured equipment involved in commercial
diving.

LIFE EXPERIENCE
2. • Currently employed as a surveyor for Land & Air Surveying, Inc.
(see references).
• 2001-2009 Continued working and raising a family, traveling to
-and diving- Fiji, Tahiti, Vanuatu, Rarotonga, Cozumel, Roatan,
Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, St. Helena in the mid Atlantic,
and Fernando de Noronha in Brazil.
• 2001 Crewed a 44’ Sailboat across the Atlantic, from Port
Elizabeth, South Africa, to Trinidad & Tobago, for 3 months.
• 1984-2001 Worked in the Commercial Diving Industry,
harvesting sea urchins along the California Coastal waters and
Channel Islands.
• 1983-1984 Circumnavigated the globe via plane, train, boat &
bike!
• 1979-1982 Moorpark College, Ca. & Ricks College, Utah
• 1975-1979 Thousand Oaks High School 3.85 GPA Overall
OTHER INTERESTS & NOTABLES
• Swimming & Water Polo: Lettered at the Varsity level all 4 years
of High School. U.S. Olympic Trial qualifier in the 400 I.M., in
1979.
• Ranked nationally in the U.S. Masters Swimming organization,
currently I swim over 5 miles/week, and participate in pool and
open water competitions.
