have happened and cannot be changed.

it.

God helps those who help
themselves.
One needs to take action and help themselves rather
than only relying on God. First take the initiative then
God will surely help you.
8. The story of thirsty crow
gives us the moral that how
God helps those who help
themselves. The thirsty crow
when atlast found a jug of
water after a long time, he
came to know that water was
very low in it. He helped
himself by putting the
pebbles into the jug and the
water rose up. He drank it
and flew away.

A drowning man catches at a straw.
It refers to the desperate measures that someone in need
may make in order to come out of the situation
10. In the story of snow white and
seven dwarfs, the step mother
of snow white set the guard to
take snow white to the the
forest and kill her. But the
guard took pity on her and let
her go. She knew “ a drowning
man catches at a straw”. She
realized that her only hope is
to survive in the forest and she
grasped the chance and lived
in the forest.

Honesty is the best policy.
It means that telling the truth is better than lying even when it is hard to
do. No matter how good you are at lying, sooner or later truth will come
out and you will have to face the consequences.
12. Story of a wood cutter whose axe
accidently fell into the river is the
best example of this proverb. A
fairy came to help him. She took
out a gold and silver axe one after
another from the river. But the
woodcutter refused to take them
and told her about her iron axe.
She atlast took out his iron axe.
She was so impressed by his
honesty that she rewarded him
with the gold and silver axe.

Greed is curse.
This saying means that if you become greedy, then one day you
will think that the thing which is causing greed is a curse because
there is no end to it. You will want more and more and will never be
satisfied.
16. A greedy dog once found a bone
from a meat shop. He took the
bone and ran away. While
crossing a river, he saw his
reflection in water and thought
there was another dog with a
bone. He barked at him and lost
his own bone. Due to his greed ,
he could not even eat his bone.

As you sow, so shall you reap.
If you did bad things in the past, you will get bad results in the
future. if you did good things in the past, you will get good
results in the future .
18. A fox and a crane were very
good friends. One day the fox
invited the crane to lunch at his
home and served the food in a
shallow dish that crane couldn’t
eat it and left his home hungry.
The next day crane invited the
fox and served the food in a
narrow jar that fox was unable to
eat. The fox got his lesson that
he did bad to crane and in
return crane did same to him.
19. بھینس اسکی الٹھی کی جس
Might is right.
It means those who are powerful can do what they wish
unchallenged, even if their action is in fact unjustified.
20. Once a lamb was drinking water
on the bank of river. A hungry
wolf came and wanted to eat the
poor lamb. He imposed several
allegations on him and tried to
consider him guilty. The lamb
denied the allegations. The wolf
became angry and tore him into
pieces and ate the poor lamb.
He did so because he knew he
would not be answerable to
anyone as he was powerful.
21. اٹکا میں کھجور گرا سے آسمان
Out of the frying pan into the fire.
This proverb is used to describe the situation of moving or getting
from a bad or difficult situation to a worse one, often as the result
of trying to escape from the bad or difficult one.
