936 million people in the world do not have enough food to
eat. (1.5 million – children)
98% of these people live in developing countries.
1/3 of the world’s hungry live in India.
Under-nutrition contributes to 2.6 million deaths of children
every year.
One out of six children in developing countries are
underweight.
One in four of the world’s children are stunted.

As per FAO, gains in food production have always been
