The Grenada Football Association invites applications from dynamic, qualified and energetic candidates
for the following position:
COMPETITIONS OFFICER
Responsibilities:
He/She will report to the General Secretary.
The Competitions Officer will be responsible for all national competitions.
1. Organizing all national competitions (Including qualification tournaments) grassroots, youth,
amateur, futsal and women’s football. This will include:
I. Fixtures and draws
II. Venues
III. Logistics- Travel and Accommodation
IV. Player Eligibility
V. Referees – in cooperation with the Referees Committee
VI. Local organizing committees at the venues
2. Competition Rules and Regulations
3. Development of existing and new competitions
4. Competition budgets (In collaboration with the Finance Officer)
5. Liaise with regional football bodies (regarding local competitions)
6. Liaise with education bodies regarding school competitions
7. Liaise with parish and other leagues
2. Requirements:
The Competitions Officer must:
1. Have at least five (5)years of practical experience with the organization, control or management
of competitions including familiarization with regulations preparation, fixtures and other
competition operations.
2. Good communications skills (Oral and written) is required
3. Must have an affinity for statistics.
4. Must be familiar with relevant aspects of IT: Word, Spreadsheet, Internet and basic aspects of
social media
5. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
6. NO criminal record
Remuneration: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
