I am a qualified and reliable Mechanical Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic with a solid 25-year career history,
including recent Offshore Oil & Gas experience as a Senior Mechanical Technician aboard MODEC FPSO’s. I have
demonstrated expertise in the servicing, maintenance and repair of a range of gas turbines, compressors,
generators, engines, valves and pumps, completing jobs safely, on time and with attention to detail. Additional
Heavy Diesel Fitter and Mechanic roles round out my versatile skill set and experience working in a range of marine,
workshop and remote environments. I have a thorough understanding of job scheduling, resource management,
and OHS requirements, and working as part of a team, I remain willing to accept additional responsibility and assist

 Mechanical Fitter responsibilities aboard MODEC’s Stybarrow MV16 FPSO, MV11 FPSO and
Pyrenees Venture FPSO.
 Servicing of Nuovo Pignone 6SHM/4 compressor (2000, 4000hr and 24,000hr).
 Rebuild of Nuovo Pignone compressor.
 Servicing of Hydrocyclones.
 Maintenance and repair of solar gas turbines, compressors, and generators.
 Overhaul and replacement of ball valves and gate valves, including flange management.
 Maintenance and repair of Wartsila engines.
 Installation, modification and maintenance of pipework.
 Pump surveys including overhauls, and pump alignments.
 Servicing of ship side generators.
 5-yearly inspections of first stage and test stage separator.
 Maintenance of seawater suction, water injection, ballast pump and fire pump strainers.
 Servicing and fault finding on Cranes, including hydraulic hose change outs.
 Change out and pressure testing of PSVs.
 Swagelok tubing fabrication and installations.
 Lowering of risers for disconnection and reconnection.
 Servicing of fire deluge systems and foam expanders.
 Planned and breakdown maintenance of hydraulics.
 Assisting with general plant shut down and restarts.
