1. Engaging large audiences in improving
communication skills… with laughter!
TALK SHOW
A Comedy About Communication
TALK SHOW clients include: DePaul University, United Stationers,
TowneAir Freight, Gordon Food Service, Society of Actuaries
THE GOAL:
Traditional training spaces are rarely conducive to
effective teambuilding and soft skills development. If
your organization is stuck with a large lecture hall or a
traditional classroom, how do you engage hundreds of
participants in a meaningful discussion about how they
speak with one another?
Make them laugh. Make them think. And, get their friends
and coworkers up on stage!
THE PLAY:
TALK SHOW begins with a short sampling of comedy
improv to engage and build energy. Then, our
Facilitator/Performers lead a highly interactive session
with whole group improv exercises and fun
demonstrations performed by volunteers on stage.
TALK SHOW provides practical advice and direction on
taking personal accountability for communication,
praticing active listening, and conveying one’s message
with precision. Supplemented with visuals to reinforce
key points and an optional post-training reminder e-
mail, TALK SHOW is a complete communication skills
training in a convenient package for traditional venues.
And, unlike similar organization’s programs, TALK
SHOW is a customized experience. Prior to the event,
one of our instructional designers consults with your
project team to discuss the theme of your event and the
needs of your organization. In the improv spirit of “Yes
And,” we then align TALK SHOW’s core lessons to the
themes of your larger event, campaign, or strategy.
