Data Seed/Migration Application
Objective: Accelerate the generation and movement of data across the salesforce
platform via X-Author for Excel.
Role: Lead development on the XA application that facilitates the migration of data
across Salesforce Sandboxes.
Impact: Removes the need for manual inserts of test data by sandbox Dev team and
removes error caused by development with incompletely configured data. Makes
data population of a sandbox 96% more efficient.
Product Management Macros
Objective: Streamline the UI/UX for an X-Author product management tool.
Role: Lead development of macros that automatically update and populate
Salesforce fields that would otherwise need to be entered manually.
Impact: Allows user of the application to import and configure products in a fraction
of the time otherwise required. 13 custom macros were built across 10 Salesforce
objects and handled data from just under 200 products.

Upon refresh – we lose ALL data in each environment except full sandboxes (SFDC and Apttus – products, accounts, contacts, etc.) and need a way to get the data back into the environments after refresh. Need apps that can be easily updated with new code, fields, and functionality (stretch would be to have this automated – or auto-alerts for the person doing the refresh work).
Need app to transfer seed data for all basic objects so testing can continue – Grant
