Cowboom.com: Wrote SQL Agent Jobs to stock online products.
Devloped user interface for product detail, search, cart, ordering,
promotions, user profile and order history. Implemented database objects
and application components for store operation.
Google Search Appliance: Configured appliance for commerce search
on Cowboom.com. Wrote stored procedures to export product feed data.
Created search page to display results from search.
Commerce API: Implemented Best Buy Open API for products and
orders on Cowboom.com. Developed cart and checkout process to
function alongside existing checkout process.
Best Buy Marketplace: Developed process to sell Cowboom.com
products on BestBuy.com.
Website Publication: Built SQL Server and Access database driven
websites and administration application to maintain content. Users were
granted control of news articles, dated events and downloaded files for
their domain on the sites.
Advanced Website Search: Built tool using Verity to index and search
internal website. Search spanned across large volume of webpages, files
and database content. Results displayed to user ordered by relevance.
Online Employment Application: Built online forms to capture job
applications. Contact information, skills, experience and education stored
in SQL Server database was then imported into another database as part
of a staffing management system. 600 job applications per business day,
Online Personnel Requisition: Built web application for internal job
placement. Personnel requisitions were routed to managers along
organization hierarchy for approvals. Emails sent by the application
during the process prompted managers to log in and review requisitions.
Payroll interface provided tracking and search of all requisitions.
System Diagnostics and Repair Tool: Built web application to
diagnose and repair employment records so they could be processed in
Peoplesoft. The application allowed viewing of Oracle and SQL Server
tables. Updates could also be applied to records with the tool to remedy
problems with the data. This tool is crucial for maintaining invoices and
payroll.
Webservice: Developed webservice in ASP.NET to interface with
external customers. Interview and assignment requests could be posted
through the service.
