3. Please bring your best learner attitudes to this work. The
expectations for distance learning are the same for at school-
P-Prepare for Learning
A- Act Responsibly
W-Work with Integrity
S- Show Respect
Working with integrity means doing your best work at home
just like you would in the classroom and making sure to do your
own work. You can ask questions for support, but no one
should be giving you answers.
4. I can use academic
vocabulary by looking for
context clues.
15. Now please complete the practice for Academic and Domain
Specific Vocabulary.
Sign into Study Island. Click on “My Classes” and then ELA.
Complete the practice and try to get 80% or 4 correct out of 5
total questions.
Or, please complete the same practice in your packet. Try for 4
out of 5 correct.
Either way, take your time to read and answer carefully!

There will be more and different things in the coming

keeping it simple.
If you want extra practice, please read with your
families and/or feel free to play on your Dreamscape
account. Also, check out any of the many learning sites
listed at https://amscharters.org/home-learning/.
See you tomorrow!
