3. INTRODUCTION :
⮚ NEWSLETTER is a bulletin issued periodically to the member of society , business or
organization ( Hospitals).
⮚ It is well known that majority of hospital in the USA lacks good method of disseminating the
interdepartmental information that usually prototype viz., bulletins , memoranda board notices &
committee meetings.
⮚ In many cases this form of communication is adequate enough even though it is limited to its
scope.
⮚ Newspapers & leaflets are type of newsletters.
⮚ Newsletters offer a valuable information , they should be short & to the point.
⮚ An enormous amount of time is spent by pharmacists in preparing newsletters but their
effectiveness with respect to the above two purposes may vary from hospital to hospital.

promotions, and helpful health tips.

• It keeps the entire staff aware of change in therapeutics within the hospital (NDDS etc.)
