2. Jenny was born on May 1st 1858.

3. Jenny was born in Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow.

4. Before Jenny and her siblings were even 20, they lost both of
their parents to illness. Jenny had three other siblings.

5. Jenny was an Irish activist, feminist, politician and
businesswoman. She was a founder member of Sinn Féin and
also Inghinidhe na hÉireann.

6. Jenny died on January 5th 1941.

7. For founding Sinn Féin and Inghinidhe na hÉireann.

8. Because she became one of the most famous women in the 1916
rebellion.

9. She founded a party that is very popular even today, which
shows she worked hard.

10. Jenny was the president of Cumann na mBán during the 1916
Rebellion.

11. In 1881, she became involved in politics for the first time by
joining the Ladies Land League.

12. Some of the signing of the 1916 Proclamation took place in her
house.

13. Jenny was 83 when she died and many attended her funeral.

14. Jenny Wyse-Power is buried in Glasnevin cemetery in Dublin,
Ireland.
