  13. 13. Maggie<br />Maggie was 16 months younger than Mary and she was involved in the early<br />teaching activities of the MacKillop girls.<br />by Jmie-lee<br />
  14. 14. John<br />John was three years younger than Mary. His first job was at Swanston Street<br />Railway Station in Melbourne. In 1862, when he was 17, he went with his father to<br />the New Zealand goldfields.   15. 15. Alexander<br />Alexander or “our little Alick” as Mary called him, was Mary’s baby brother. He died<br />at eleven months of age, when Mary was five.<br />by Jmie-lee<br />
  16. 16. Annie<br />Due to family problems, Annie spent a good deal of her childhood with relatives.<br />Annie was musical. She taught the piano and was a teacher with Mary at the school<br />in Portland. She was a lifelong companion to Mary.<br />by Jmie-lee<br />
  17. 17. Peter<br />Peter was the youngest of the MacKillop children. He studied with the Jesuits at<br />Sevenhill.<br />In 1875 he developed heart disease.
