The mind and the will are two different concepts acted upon by human
beings. The mind is said to be the one that is responsible in understanding
concepts and ideas. A man uses his/her mind in understanding the situations
around him/her. He/ She uses this in knowing other people’s motives. The
mind’s goal is finding out the truth. It brings consciousness to every human
being which makes it stronger and wiser. It can be very powerful if it benefits
one, but can also be detrimental if not used wisely. It can transform lives or it
can inhibit or impair one if not used appropriately. By being optimistic, mind
can be powerful but by being lost in negative thought, it can be destructive.

While will is the person’s capability to make his/her own decision and to
enact upon it. It is used by man to act upon what is good and acceptable. Its’

the mind’s understanding and assessment of a certain situation to act
appropriately and responsibly.
