To whomit may concern:
I am sureyou can see from Geoff’s resumethat he was employed by Lakeland
Sleep Center, Inc., dba America’s Mattress for 14 years. You can also see on his
resumethe multitude of responsibilities that he was given.
What his resume doesn’ttell you and whatI am struggling to find the words to
convey is how blessed our company was that he chose to spend those 14 years
with us! During his tenure he worked tirelessly, with little (if any) supervision. He
was the first person to arriveeach morning and even on his days off he kept his
phone by his side in case he was needed. I never once heard him complain if he
had to come in on his day off to cover for another employee. In fact, he seldom
even spokeof it. Usually it was a coworker thatbroughtit to my attention!
When Geoff was promoted to Operations & WarehouseMgr. he was supposed to
receive tutelage from the founder of our company. Unfortunately, Mr. Cassel
passed away within days of Geoff moving into that position and there was no one
else to guide him. Working with a computer systemwhich was virtually useless
due to improper installation, Geoffrey stepped up and took controlof the
situation. Not only did we barely miss a beat he was able to get our computer
systemto do the job it should havebeen doing fromthe beginning. In fact,
anytime there was a task that no one else in the company could do, Geoff would
find a way to get it done!
When Geoff was promoted to General Manger it was a perfect fit! He had the
sales and sales management experience, he was an expert at customer relations,

he knew our products better than anyonein the company, and mostimportantly
he had long since earned the respect of his coworkers and our vendors.
Geoff is the type of person that you can count come what may! He will act as a
peace keeper, raise employee morale, and keep a calm head during any storms.
He is incredibly smart, honest, dependable, and loyal.
In closing, if you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity hire him, I would
strongly suggestyou do so immediately. Itwill be one of the best decisions you
will ever make!
