Provided daily management of the City of Chicago Hospital Preparedness Grant.
Implementation of programs and oversight of budgets for 25 hospitals with a total budget that exceeds $3.5
million dollars, budget formulation and implementation of grant recipients in the City of Chicago.
Supervised a staff of two administrators and one and administrative assistant. My office has the overall
responsibility for hospitalemergency preparedness and response in Chicago.
Coauthored ASPR Pandemic Influenza grant for $800,685 dollars of additional funds. Funding provided
resources for pandemic influenza in disadvantaged communities.
