 A part of the HGGC portfolio, Citadel Plastics
Holdings, Inc., produces thermoset and thermoplastic
compounds for use in a wide range of different
industries. In 2007, Citadel came into being through a
series of acquisitions. At present, Citadel technology
represents the individual achievements of several
different brands, including Bulk Molding Compounds,
Inc. (BMC); Matrixx Group, Inc.; Lucent Polymers,
Fiberfil, QTR, and more. The innovative minds at these
companies have allowed Citadel to push the
boundaries of polymer materials and provide
products that meet the specific needs of both
current and future customers.
 Recently, Citadel announced a new
branding campaign that will better
integrate the brands that comprise the
Citadel family. The rebranding initiative
additionally includes education across
different teams in the company about the
wide range of products available, meaning
that all Citadel professionals will have the
tools necessary to point clients to the
products that best meet their needs.
 Along with the branding effort, Citadel
launched a new website that clearly lays
out the products it offers, as well as their
applicability to various industries. The
new website also more succinctly
describes the organizational structure of
Citadel, including recognition of the
accomplishments and recent research
of each brand.
