This document provides an agenda and guidelines for a resume peer review session. It includes tips for properly formatting sections of a resume like the header, experiences, education, and accomplishment statements. Students will review each other's resumes based on consistency, clear communication of strengths and qualifications, and alignment with provided rubrics. The session will conclude by discussing next steps like signing up for office hours and finalizing resumes and cover letters.

Rubric Important Guidelines
o BCom not BCOMM
o Start with the degree
o List expected date of completion (either as “Completion:
…” or “Expected Completion: ...”)
o No laundry lists of courses: only specific, relevant
courses
o GPA –score/%/letter grade, indicating the school scale
o Key/relevant projects and awards: write in
accomplishment statement form
o Transfer schools can be separate if desired
o Exchange schools can be separate or incorporated

Proof, Transferrable Skills, and Scope

Rubric Important Guidelines
o Reverse chronological order by start date
o You can include explanation sentences of
companies/experiences if necessary (but need to do it for
ALL or NONE)
o Eliminate filler words
o Keep it to one sentence (2 lines is best)
o The elements of the RATS statement should be apparent
(but not necessarily in RATS order)
