What’s the Internet of Things
4. Trends OF IOT
O The first applications of the Internet of Things will be in
business processes such as the remote maintenance of
industrial machinery, supply-chain optimization and
security, and infrastructure management
O One of the biggest technology trends in 2014 will be one
that remains essentially invisible to the vast majority of
people on the planet, even though its eventual impact on
humankind will be dramatic. The Internet of Things
(IoT)—also known as the Industrial Internet, the Internet
of Everything, and the Internet of Nouns—will finally
become a reality in 2014, principally due to the rapidly
falling cost of manufacturing power-efficient wireless
chipsets capable of sending and receiving WiFi and
Bluetooth low-energy signals.
5. TRENDS
O Year 2014 laid the foundation for the rapid change
in technology and visions for India by the
government - in particular the Digital India, Make in
India and the Smart Cities campaigns.
Technological advances that connect the digital
world will make 2015 the year of integrated
intelligence. Some top technology trends we
foresee in India is the exponential growth in real
time data monitoring from connected devices.
O Trend # 1: The internet of things (IoT)
O Trend # 2: The connected mobile workforce
O Trend # 3: The adoption of Cloud technology
6. Interest Areas
O My area of interest is on INTERNET OF
THINGS which I like this topic because
where we can learn any thing which we
don’t know we can see updates of news
or any latest updated technology with in
seconds
O Example that I had learned online trading
and also doing trading by knowing
internet and also learning HTML for
asp.net for website designing.
7. O I will give my full strive for working in
internship on programing in DotNet where
many things can learn and check the
problems while working on this
programing in internship and I can
manage time efficiently .
The semantic origin of the expression is composed by two words and concepts: “Internet” and “Thing”, where “Internet” can be defined as “The world-wide network of interconnected computer networks, based on a standard communication protocol, the Internet suite (TCP/IP)”, while “Thing” is “an object not precisely identifiable” Therefore, semantically, “Internet of Things” means “a world-wide network of interconnected objects uniquely addressable, based on standard
